US 1 to I-95 North; I-95 North to the Florida Turnpike North; Get off at the Kissimmee exit, drive to Osceola High School, and check out the talent. OHS Kowboys are headed to the 8A championship game after dominating West Orange (the #1 ranked team in Central Florida) 35-14!!! Florida is full of talent...not just south of Jupiter.

That's right.

We hope and assume Richt will be able to build strong in-roads in South Florida. We will be very lucky to have the added benefit of the ties Richt has in northern Florida and Georgia.

Richt has been recruiting Florida for 15 years, he knows how to find the talent.
We are not dealing with an ex-temple coach here.
Congrats to them!
 
Agreed OP.

S. Fla has probably the most elite talent in the country, but head north just a bit and those boys bring it just as much. That's UF/FSU territory that they've leveraged for years, but Richt will start making his way in.

he has been recruiting florida for 20 + years...he was the oc at fsu

if they dont have a lot of speed...Osceola would be in major trouble....

Flanagan is a track team.....and their defense is full of speed and talent...sort of small in size but fiesty and fast...loaded with div 1 kids...
 
My Alma mater is Braden River just got beat by St Thomas last night. They have come a long way! Proud of those boys
 
Richt will be a national recruiter at UM. South Florida first, rest of Florida next, then GA, CA, LA, TX and NJ. The same formula that one us 5NC.

I'm hoping he can lock down South and Central FL targets and then hit up his GA connects next. Then just go after blue chippers wherever for icing on the cake.

I went to the Braden River vs Plant city 3rd round game. They were a well coached team. We need to take a look at their TE. He is huge and can run........
