Wasn't too worried when he left, but losing Manu has really hurt. Averaging 11.4 PPG for #2 Baylor (including game winner last night) with 5.1 APG and 1.9 TOPG.

Canes are averaging 13 turnovers per game, the most since 2010-2011. Lack of a PG really hurting us.

Yeah he seemed to like coach L, and vice versa.

Sucks he bolted we would be better with him this year.

We make tourney with him IMO.

Would have made a big difference. I wonder if Manu was here would Newton now be backing up Brown at the 2?

Manu needed a redshirt year, and instead of taking it here, he transferred. Coach L didn't want him to leave, but Manu felt that he shouldn't have to sit behind Angel AND 'Quan, even though he was the odd man out at that moment. There weren't enough minutes for all three, and Angel was the starter and Quan was the explosive newcomer. This team with Manu is a top 20 squad, because Quan could play the two guard, and you'd have someone like Brown splitting minutes with him, or at the worst, Quan would be the backup, a role he is well suited for.
