Manny v Mack Brown (UNC)

This OP's big picture thinking is right up there with the "Manny only has one year to succeed" thread some other doofus started.
I bet you made similar posts right after some said Golden wasnt the guy after the Maryland game. I bet you were front and center w the same posts when some said a quarter through Richts first season that he should be forced to hire an OC.

Sometimes -- not always -- a snapshot is all you need to make a big picture assessment.

If Manny doesn't run it up on the dude who fired him, especially after bragging about running it up at events, he ain't the guy and he never will be.

You realize he got himself fired because of crappy defense he was running(500 yards rushing to BYU)
Only at Miami can you get promoted for having an overrated D to HC
Clowns running the circus
Based on your attitude why even show up? We should just fold the program and get it over with. There ain't a dam thing stupid about the turnover chain.

This post, particularly the final sentence, belongs in the CIS Hall of Fame for dumb AF comments.

It's actually worse than the only has one year to succeed thread. You've somehow trying to convince people Manny's ENTIRE CAREER indesputably comes down to running up the score in some random ACC game in the middle of his first season.

It's laughably stupid. Stop embarrassing yourself.

The type of player he's recruited thus far says he will be that kind of coach. We will find week zero though.

Who said anything about Mannys entire career being encapusalted by running the score up on UNC?

Tighten up those reading comprehension and context skills, my curiously offended brother who keeps tally of threads he hates then ranks them in a HOF.

I said hes not the man for UM if this scenario occurs. Manny will always have a career
(at the very least as a DC). He probably likely has a winning record even.

But he'll never win big HERE if he's a call off the dogs kinda guy.

Horrible talent evaluator, but he did bring JT back.

Hes already put it out there that we're supposed to run up the score, so now he needs to walk it like he talks it.

I was speaking on more of the mentality of the players he has brought in.

I'm expecting a similar Randy vs. Butch result.

Mack is passed his prime. UNC is desperately trying to recapture the magic of days gone by but Mack isn't going to get them there. There's a reason that a man that such an elite coach like Mack and had Texas competing with the elites for so long suddenly dropped off and left Texas such a mess.

Yeah besides TNM the GT coach had the best rebranding of a program. He's selling a tech savvy program in a metropolitan city. It's going to work. Some of those Atlanta kids are going to stay home. Even if it's the UGA leftovers that will still be a Top 25 class.

Lmao at GT ever being a serious threat without that bs triple option... it didnt happen with Calvin Johnson it ain’t happening.

yeah they are smack in the middle of Atlanta but the overall student body demographic is enough to turn most elite kids off.

Yeah I bet student demographic stops Stanford from recruiting at a Top 25 level too.

Stanford doesn’t have a student body of 90% Asians who don’t give af about anything except making a 4.5 GPA so their parents don’t disown them (no offense)

We were 7-6 last season and we're 8-7 against UNC since entering the ACC.

Meanwhile you're equating long term success using words like "never" and "savage" to box in Manny's personality and coaching style like a kid who just got done watching his first 30 for 30.

Grow up. This is big time college football where winning and advancing is all that matters, not scoring an extra TD with 90 seconds left to satisfy you.
