Suspect our old friend Manny will bite his lip & stay silent.
First, he spent millions to buy his QB from Tulane a year ago. Smart business move. No one complained.
Second, perhaps even more telling, Manny can’t forget he broke a contract with Temple to take the Miami job. Dude was there 17 days before ghosting the program, leaving the Owls amid recruiting, hiring a staff & making plans for spring practice. Canes/Diaz reimbursed Temple $4 million to close the deal.
So, if coaches can break deals & free to leave, then why can’t players?

Not just break deals and jump at other jobs, but taking the core of players as well.
There was always an unwritten rule about doing this sort of thing.
