Manny said WHAT?!?!

Manny is full of it. I watched the Duke tape today. That was far worse than FIU. This game didn't have an energized opponent or flock of early Miami turnovers. This game was lethargic and going through the motions throughout.

It was the typical recent Miami game in which there's bad weather so let's use that as excuse to stand around and look gloomy and disinterested.

Key possession was when we led 17-13 and took over after the reviewed sack fumble on their 40, late third quarter. That was a miserable choice of plays...two slow developing runs and then a wandering pass. It was like we didn't seem concerned that a touchdown there might actually shift expectancy in our favor.

I didn't realize N'Kosi played. Most pivotal single play was his first pass. We trailed 20-17 and tried to stun them with a deep ball to Harley. Now that was understandable. That was a good call. There is no way a defense will be immediately prepared for the difference in arm strength between Williams and Perry.

But the pass was one yard short. N'Kosi's accuracy issues showed up again when we couldn't afford it.

That was the weakest attendance I've seen from a Canes road opponent in a long time. More than pathetic we lose a road game like that when it barely qualified as a road game.

Manny’s anal-lyck-tics tell him the players strained and gave maximum effort but doesn’t tell him his OC finished 130th of 130 teams in 3rd down efficiency?

Now, I’m no math-magician but even I can determine his offense...

ABSOLUTELY SUCKS

I’m one who believes Manny deserves another year but after reading what he said on the Joe Rose show it obvious that MANNY IS OUT HIS MIND or he’s totally okay with mediocrity!!!

“Our team played. Our team came to play,” Diaz said. “I cannot fault the effort and strain that our guys played with.”

What game was he coaching. With a team like Duke little effort wins by 10. Maximum effort wins by 25+. We couldn’t complete a 3rd down in the 2nd half. We had to change QB for goodness sake, and he couldn’t do ****. Duke converted over 50% on 3rd down. They did not come to play, and if they did... Manny didn’t prepare them correctly for DUKE!!!

We lost to Duke a year ago and in that game I can pull out clips of a lack of effort on special teams and on offense. I would be more concerned if I had to fix that. We have no chance without that. We have got that established.”

What?!?!
He has succeeded in getting players to put effort into losing to Duke! Is that better or worse than having them lose because of a lack of effort? Serious conundrum!
