He grew up around politics. He seems genuinely befuddled that there is more to the job than just talking and empty promises.
 
Manny Diaz has absolutely no idea what he is doing. How did he get into coaching football, anyway. Did he ever actually play the game?
 
I really could care less bout what he said. I know fans like to get all hot and bothered by coach speak when things are going poorly, it never matters.

Just win football games.
 
All coaches try to spin it in interviews when they are losing so idk why some are you are hanging on to his every word. Bottom line is we have no identity on offense and there is a philosophical difference in what Enos wants to run and the type of players we have. Diaz has to either make a change or get ran out of town like Richt.
 
Love how these coaches turn the criticism we have on to the players, when we are blaming the coaches. Golden was real good at that.

What game were you watching. Perry got put into the game very late in the 4th qtr faced with obvious passing situations and offensive line down to 2nd and 3rd string. Perry threw 2 perfect passes despite having to dodge defenders just to get the pass off. One of them the defender made an incredible play to knock it away and the other Pope juggled before bringing it in , but out of bounds.

IDK why you and others are in this kid's jock 24/7. Perry has played well in every game except Pitt where he played with a separated shoulder. Perry has been a great teammate, played his backup role well, and done a 180 from last year. Give the kid some respect!!!!

In a season that's been horrible all around and just where you think it couldn't get any worse—Manny's eight-day run between Florida International and Duke ....couldn't have played worse.

Dude should've walked out of the presser and not allowed himself to say any of this. Amateur hour at it's worst.

Manny should have kept his part time gig at ESPN! He would be great on game day sitting next to Herbie! But this HC thing; it’s clear he isn’t built for!

This thread is a contradiction of the running narrative. He said that he thought the effort was there, and people go crazy. But isn't that exactly what you're all saying? We have the dudes, but the coaching is bad? If anything, he is agreeing with you. If he's wrong and the effort WASN'T there, then stop complaining about the play calling.

Well, Diaz isn't going to blame the staff and himself and quite frankly he really did not blame the kids. He is trying to sign a class within the next two weeks. This is an important class for the next guy...lol.
