i Appreciate Manny taking responsibility, but my issue is that he thinks the team was prepared, when obviously they were not. And that worries me because I’m unsure if he understands how to prepare a team for the good opponents. It’s as though his coaching ends on Wednesday whereas other teams coach thru Friday. I don’t think Manny, and Baker in particular, know how to scheme and take away what a team most wants to do. In particular I don’t think they know how to take away a team’s running game because everything we do on defense is upfield. And when a team knows how to run against our defense, we are at a coaching loss to adjust.
‘and I’m tired of hearing we have to watch the film. Not this game you don’t. You were repeatedly in the wrong position and wrong alignment on defense. i can think of 20 pre-snap alignments that put us at a disadvantage. I don’t need to see film to know we were out-schemed over and over again. I hate the I need to watch film answer because it’s really not an answer and tells me you can’t adjust on the spot during games.

Did anyone ask him how he predicts season ticket sales will go at this point? Since that date is Jan 29 he might want to think of some changes sooner than later.
