Manny on WQAM this morning

I've noticed Manny taking quite a few shots at the Gators in all of his post week 0 interviews and I love it. He's taken multiple digs at Franks and their tackling. Today he added a new one about OL being weak. He knows we should've won that game and it's eating him alive.

Manny needs to focus on his own team. There were way to many penalties in game 1 not to mention players not being disciplined.

Summary please? I am deaf in real life. Many thanks in advance.

DJH you didn't miss much it was honestly the same stuff we have seen for two weeks from our local media.

They went over Florida game again and asked what they went over to fix mistakes.

Manny talked about how the tackling wasnt that bad once they reviewed the film outside of that long TD. How if you watch week 1 of college football alot of people had similar mistakes as us. How alot of that gets worked out.

He said that Tate will get reps at WR/ they have packages for him.
He said the extra time was helpful.
He said they watched alot of teams this past weekend.
The only thing mentioned about the upcoming game was Joe Rose saying good luck this weekend coach.
Honestly sounded like Manny was a little surprised he didn't get any questions about UNC. He kind of paused for a few seconds.

Meh.

Maybe part of his coaching strategy is to hammer home to his kids how winnable that game was and that if Florida was really the #8 team in the country—and Miami went toe-to-toe with them Week 0, on the heels of 7-6, with a brand new quarterback and offensive staff—then maybe this program isn't as far off as the critics thought.

Again, we'll see by year's end how that strategy plays out—but not gonna over-critique the man's process two weeks into his first season.

Let's see if he has Miami ready for what will be a rowdy sold out game in Chapel Hill. If he does and the Canes take care of business, it helps do away with all the criticism hangover from the Gators loss.

There are plenty of schools across the country that are starting a freshman QB and implementing a new system and looked more organized than we did. Stop with the excuses not to mention a player flipping birds on the field.

Who are all these schools with freshman QBs, new systems, FR tackles and playing a ranked team that looked more organized than us?

And all we’ve heard since last game is how we are focused on Miami and getting us better, so why does him making comments about UFag, while discussing that game mind you, bother you so?

Lol so if we’re focused on Miami why are you still talking about UF? And our next opponent started a True freshman at QB and as far as the freshman tackles goes that’s a decision our coaching staff made. And it doesn’t bother me what bothers me are the penalties especially the unsportsmanlike penalties.

I’m guessing he probably talked about uf because that’s what he was asked about.
