Manny on Joe Rose show this morning

Yeah I didn’t get that one. That kid can flat out play. Instincts are more important then 40 times at LB.
I was with DWins on my criticism of the Flagg tape because even in his HS highlights, he was often reaching to make a tackle due to his lack of quicks. Maybe I saw what I wanted to see because of his 40 times, and didn't diagnose his ability well. But I need to see him in action to believe it. Shaq seemed a better athlete coming out of HS, and he was chasing down kids too often. I'd like to get faster LBs on the field.

For me, the ideal rotation from a speed perspective would be Brooks, Steed, Huff and Cave. No idea what's up with Joyner. I expected him to be the guy pushing McCloud on the interior, not Jennings. And he's pretty athletic.

Mike Harley is a guy that can really improve his stock tremendously. You know he’ll run great at the combine. He’s small but if he gets that film this year & runs a low 4.4 he could get himself into the 3-4 round I would think.

You got your athletes in Huff & Brooks. Can’t really get much more athletic then them two.

It’s a bit of a sigh of relief for me that Knighton busted a 70 yarder and Chaney a 40 yarder.

If you subtract these runs, their numbers are pedestrian. But it still shows how explosive they can be.

On the other hand, it means our defense didn’t get gashed as bad as I initially thought. Giving up two 70 yard TDs is a little concerning, but we don’t know what unit that was against (who were the safeties?!).
This was the main point when it came to the defense that I looked at early, curious to know who was the linebackers and safeties on those runs, and we're those runs cut backs, back to that weak striker side like butch davis and Louisville kept running!

Will Mallory will thrive in this offense... Lashlee isn’t trying to turn him into a blocking TE like Enos was trying to do. He’s a David Njoku, Jimmy Graham type... if you’re making Will be a blocker or work inside all the time, you don’t know wtf ur doing as an OC.
Facts!

He needs to do bunch of these

Go Canes

Concerned no talked on CB's and DT's
Don't be, cb's played well and the d-tackles were solid, it was battle in the trenches, besides the big runs, **** was looking bleak. We straight when it comes to defensive personnel, our defense is already way more athletic. What we must keep an eye on, this is now 2 years in a row an OC has come in and his offense has put in some form of work, we gone need the other blake to start speeding up his thought process, we going into the 2nd year of his defensive system, he should personally know it better by now.

Let's not gloss over perry's stats either, that man put in work out their last night, and I wouldn't be surprised if perry starts lighting it up even more, stay tuned!
