It occurred to me. Then I took a look at our schedule.

Actually he’s not wrong, I’ve been to a few practices and the tempo and intensity isn’t there. There’s I believe 20 plus periods that include individual position drills, 7 on 7 drills and 11-11 drills. I don’t think he means we should be out there for 8 hours but the accountability from player to player isn’t there, To be honest the only coach I’ve heard yelling has been Enos to the QBs so the coaches as much as they preach accountability I don’t see them requiring much from the players. Sorry to say man but he’s not wrong.

I think we have more than enough talent to win the Coastal, which has always been the goal of the season

Again, think about it. We ALWAYS have enough talent to win the Coastal. There literally hasn't been a year in the last 15 where there was a Coastal team that was clearly better than us. There hasn't been a schedule in the last 15 years that should have gotten us fewer than 9 wins.

And yet, here we are.
 
Does anyone know the last time a Coastal Division team had a higher ranked recruiting class than Miami? It's insane to think we are so inept!

The culture of the program is not right. It starts with the coaching approach because players take on the personality of there coach. We lack toughness in practice, accountability and championship ways to win football games. The practice routines are soft and he should demand more out of coaches and players. This bye week should be mental preparation and chemistry building with the offense and defense. We are entering very pivotal stretch of the season and we only have three practices. I wouldn't be surprise if we come out flat Oct 5th.

Manny is on as hot of a seat as a first year coach can be. I still think he’s probably coming back if he goes 3-9 though. He might not be back at 2-10, but it’s hard to imagine him not picking up another win somewhere along the way.

4-8 would basically guarantee him a year 2.
