Manny on Hot Seat

The culture of the program is not right. It starts with the coaching approach because players take on the personality of there coach. We lack toughness in practice, accountability and championship ways to win football games. The practice routines are soft and he should demand more out of coaches and players. This bye week should be mental preparation and chemistry building with the offense and defense. We are entering very pivotal stretch of the season and we only have three practices. I wouldn't be surprise if we come out flat Oct 5th.
Show me the exact rock you crawled out from under.

Whether we like it or not, Manny is not on the hot seat. For your own sanity hope he figures it out. He’s our coach for a few years.

Well, he should be close to being on the sizzle pad after that ATROCIOUS display of football Saturn day past! And believe it or not. MIGHTY Central Michigan DEFEATS Miami if that game is on a nuetral field somewhere on the west coast! But that's all fantasist type of thinking and what not. hUh

If you count Central Michigan game as a win than the standard is way to low. That was ugly performance on all phases of the game. Luckily our defense played well enough down the stretch.
Standard is way too low in this site for porsters inability to use the words there, their, they’re, than, then

Probably lukewarm seat. Folden hung around several years and was only canned after the embarrassing loss to Clemson. Richt would probably still be at UM if he hadn't retired. The UM administration has shown that it will tolerate mediocre play and losing more than other programs would.
Golden inherited a mess, and UM didn't want to fire him because the optics would have been bad. He deserved to be fired sooner, and everyone knew it, but after dealing with the mess left him, he was given more time. Clemson gave UM the perfect out, and they took it. Diaz, on the other hand, was part of the culture already. He wasn't blind sided by an NCAA investigation. He didn't inherit any mess he wasn't fully aware of. He knew the O needed help, and he went out and hired who he thought was the best man for the job. A man whom I have always thought was vastly over rated. If he fails to win the Coastal, or even compete for it, you'd better believe his seat will heat up in a hurry.

He was a rushed, panicked hire. I am sick of those.

Hot seat... lol. 2-2 and a few plays from 4-0.

Where do these "fans" come from... really?

No real Cane fan should be happy with a rookie HC whose best other offer was TEMPLE as our HC.

If you supported hiring Manny you did so bc he’s cuban or you love jewelry. There is no logic to supporting such a weak hire.

Has it occured to anyone else that our expectations are way out of whack? I expected 10 wins and all that like everybody else, but why? I'm asking myself why I would have thought that and I can't come up with anything. We lucked into 10 wins 1 fcking time in over 10 years and we think it makes sense to assume we'll get there this year? Or any year for that matter.

We're a bunch of idiots.

Think of the absolute worst person you cross paths with in the course of your daily life. Maybe spend the next 24 hours observing everyone around you. Go into a CVS or another store frequented by all segments of the general population, and people-watch. Listen in on their conversations. Watch their interactions with others. Do they struggle to string together coherent thoughts without dropping in crude or offensive language? Do they overreact to small inconveniences? Are these easily irritated? Do they find humor in juvenile things?

When you find someone that makes you think, "this person is a tool" - you've found your answer.

is laughing at farts still considered juvenile? i do that all day.

I am 1000% expecting to come out flat on Oct. 5th. and even Oct. 11th. Very sad!

This Team won’t go 10-2.

I confess. I, too, thought Miami could win ten games this season. And that's only because of the supposedly WEAK schedule Miami had this season. But man was I wrong, AGAIN!
