I actually live in Durham and Dookies are almost non-existent here since it's such a small school so most recent grads in the area are UNC fans. I'm sure all of the ones elsewhere who have no connection to the school are insufferable, but UNC has major jorts energy haha
I've been in that area for 40 years, thought the opposite. Wal mart fans yes, arrogance of UF, nah that is Duke.

Fedora is like many. Listen to him coach on YouTube. He even said mic up he was on best behavior

This. There are no easy fixes or magic schemes that can solve for horrible QBs.

aCTuaLLy. I think a really good coach can help a bad QB be good and put him in positions to succeed. But having said that a shatty QB is a shatty QB. Hopefully Perry and Williams have some tools to work with. Like Jr just had no frickin clue what he was doing in developing anyone. I saw a video UM posted of him working with the QBs and all he said was "got to put it in the bank today" What the **** does that mean

I agree to disagree. You have to win the Coastal to get to an ACC title to get to the CFP. Until we dominate the Coastal year after year to the point of being an afterthought, we MUST focus on the Coastal, BUT we should NOT be satisfied with winning it. The Coastal is the stepping stone to an ACC title which is the top goal. Win the ACC and your in the CFP.

On a side note, if we could get our offense together, I think an ACC title could be had in 2019 because Clemson's defense won't be as good since they're losing all 4 starters on the D-Line plus 1senior sub that is starting in place of the suspended Dexter Lawrence. I expect their offense will carry them next year. We would need to be in a shootout to beat them.
If you have a great team, you will win the Coastal and the ACC pretty much automatically. The idea that it is some critical goal that deserves focus is grotesque.

You can only recruit nationally when you have assassins, scumbags, bag men, and true coffee is for closers types as recruiters.

Miami does not have those.

That is why its very difficult for them to go other hotbeds and win a battle. ****, its why we can't win battles at home.
We get plenty of oos guys

Obviously, Perry took it to mean make a sperm deposit...

I think we're saying the same thing. You have to win the Coastal to get to ACC CG do winning the Coastal has to be a goal. It's just not the end game.

We are not really disagreeing just wording it differently. Clearly I’m not saying we don’t need to win the Coastal, not play for the ACC and then hope the BCS computers vote us in. My point is that it should be an afterthought, not the goal we set out for each year. As I said even in our down years we should be dominating the Coastal. Even as bad as a year as we just had and the current challenges to our recruiting class, we should win the Coastal next year and play in the ACCCG. That’s the minimum expectation.
Yeah. You're right. We should be dominating the Coastal, but we're not. So, a goal should be to dominate the Coastal not just win it. The ACC is the end game not the Coastal, but you can't get to the CFP without a Coastal and ACC Championship.
