I would like Mario to come to fruition. Not trying to kick Manny, my point is I did not like how this was being posed as Mario or Bust when there were plenty of other quality options that could have been plan B, Plan C...It now appears that Mario is indeed coming which is good, or we will actually take a look at some of those other quality options which is also a good thing.

I wasn't a fan of his coaching but the guy tried to make changes when things weren't working. That's more than Al Golden ever did. He just didn't have what it took at this level.

Agreed. The guy wanted it bad and tried. He simply wasn't qualified for the job, and that's Blake's fault, which is why he is also gone. I will always appreciate his energy, effort, bringing an aggressive (though flawed) defense that we all were desperate for after Golden, and the fun of the turnover chain in 2017 (should have been retired after that).
