Saban had two OC’s and neither one of them was Dan Enos. Enos was a position coach at Bama, which is a much better fit for him.

Ive said all a long that I had a guy close to enos. He was wrong about his success here and he has admitted that. But he maintained that Saban wasn’t ****ed about losing him. He wasnt happy about Enos handled it.

To think Saban was not angry that Enos left defies every single story ever published about the man. If nothing more Saban's mammoth ego would have him spitting nails at the thought that another program stole away his new OC. I am afraid the guy claiming to be close to Enos is being naive and not well informed.

enos left with no word to Saban. While I agree about Sabans ego, dude literally left a pencil on his desk with out saying anything. Saban can certainly fill any void but he was ****ed that Enos couldn’t even talk to him. Maybe my guy is wrong...but that’s just the info I got.

Yes, I've read that story, although Enos swore he would never leave a job without informing his employer of his decision. Like you, I don't know the whole story, but find it hard to believe that any assistant coach employed by a major college football program would act in such an unprofessional manner knowing it would follow him throughout the remainder of his career.

I'm curious where Enos will end up now - lots of doors have been closed to him.

Your guy is not wrong. Close friend here in Atlanta is the equivalence of a Golden Cane for Alabama. We were talking about the same thing last weekend.
