Manny Navvaro " the players hated Enos"

I realize you're not knocking Zo, but this Cleveland team has added so much talent it's astounding. It was up to Kitchens to put it all together. Losing will bring out poor character and discipline issues; that's not on Zo! The play calling in Cleveland this year was on par with Enos!
Ok but at the same time wouldn't he have had a hand in the hiring of Kitchens as well??? Or at least provided input to those that do???

When you do the hard a$$ routine, you better produce. When that happens most players can handle it. When you're a hard a$$ and you oversee of the worst offenses in the county, you're not going to be real popular.

enos is a bum, but maybe some of these ****ers should learn a playbook too

Difference is Odell Beckham is Top 5 in football at his position. You can't be above average at best and and tune out coaches. College you choose the players you want Nationally. Pros you throw money at he best available at the time. Bama recruits alot of players with not the best character. Difference is Saban has his players in check. Plus we have players with character issues but also don't love football. I was rooting for Kosi but I think Kosi loves the attention football brings more than football.
I agree... and with any team there's gonna be types that get replaced... I just don't get why people assume Highsmith is gonna be that guy that gets what people seem to want... I guess what I'm getting at is I hope the U doesn't just hand it to someone quickly just to cave into public demand...
We made a quick hire with Manny, not that it was forced by public demand, and like a lot here have stated they shoulda taken their time to look around more... Well if this is the direction we're going then we have a chance to do just that and take our time and really make sure we get the right guy... Hope that makes sense...

Liking him is irrelevant. We’ve all had bosses or authority figures we didn’t like but respected. I’m sure there are some that don’t like Saban or Bill up in NE. You don’t here about that because their proven success makes you stfu and fall in line. If Enos was worth a ****, it would’ve been the same.
Not when they don't respect or fear the head coach. If they don't respect the head man, they will not respect assistant coaches. Players simply have to respect the head coach or it's a total fail for all involved.

Blame players and coaches all we want (both obviously at fault), but I‘m afraid some of the players can’t change regardless who the OC is. I’m convinced JW will remain a problem in the QB room because in two years with the team he has had multiple issues detrimental to the team. That’s who he is. Tate is not a P5 QB. At this point I‘d rather see TVD next year knowing he will put in the work, follow the rules, learn the playbook, and be a leader.

Enos may be a jerk and a bad OC, but anyone doubt what he’d say about Manuela?

You know what he thinks. Prolly not different from what this board thinks.

Something happened between November 9th and November 23rd that caused the players to quit on Enos. And it wasn't just "bad playcalling". We were winning and you could see the energy from the players. Then all of a sudden we can't move the ball against Duke, FIU, and Louisiana Tech? B.S. We will probably never know, but it wouldn't surprise me if Enos did or said something out of line that led the players to say F this dude.

It’s a drastic change in coaching philosophy from Richt to Enos..Enos is the type of coach that won’t let a average/lazy rep slide without getting on you..numerous times perry of jarren did bonehead **** during games..scrambling outside the pocket and running out of bounds instead of throwing the ball away, bad reads, delay of games..and you would see enos absolutely chew them out. That’s drastically different then how you saw MR handle boneheaded plays on Gameday..some players can’t/don’t handle it well

All correct. Enos fared best with Brandon Allen, who is not the most talented guy but very sharp and essentially another coach on the field. Allen is still in the NFL with the Broncos and I expect he'll be a coach someday. During that season Enos could focus on particulars and not worry about knucklehead inevitability.

Then at Alabama he's got two highly rated quarterbacks who are good enough to star as true freshmen. That's simply a different level than Canes personnel in this era, whether we choose to accept it or not. I can almost guarantee Enos was shellshocked once he got into meetings and practices and fully absorbed the gap for the first time. Same thing was reported regarding the offensive line coach.

BTW, Enos did not chew out Jarren for lateraling the ball. He ran up to him and screamed, "Jarren...throw the ball." That play was a designed Hail Mary and actually evolved in extremely favorable fashion. Jarren got flushed right. The only defender in the area fell down. Jarren had plenty of time to settle behind the line of scrimmage and loft the Hail Mary wherever he desired.

Once he made the incredibly bonehead move to proceed beyond the line of scrimmage the remainder was mostly trivia. The lateral received overboard spotlight here compared to the meaningful variable of not throwing the football.

It was the perfect mixture of:
1. Hands off (offense), inexperienced HC
2. OC style and expectations not being aligned with players
3. Players having poor attitudes and work ethic
4. The QB room being the opposite of leaders
5. OC being a b!tchfaced **** ****smoke
I think the players attitude is a direct result of the scheme they were forced into. Just like the defense under D’no... when manny came in a lot of attitudes changed there.

Nice of Manny to tell folks now.

That’s some weak *** isht tbh.

Pure Blake cover story

If its True that coach diaz is actually running his mouth like that, that **** is just as girly as enos already. Who gives a ***** if the players didnt like em, the question should primarily be on can he coach. The one thing we do know, perry wasnt with that ****, lol. Coach diaz up here running his trap again like he's safe, that **** better not get fired again, he's violating man laws and coach laws, this just proves coach diaz is not the man to ressurrect UM football, we dont need a team with his soft *** mentality, i got an idea, instead of doing interviews and gossiping, how bout you grow some balls and see if you can regain team credibility.

Otherwise of course you'll have to keep touting and trying to hype up the new recruits coming in and now he's even hyping up the 2021 class, man, GTFOH with that. Here's a message to coach diaz:
