Manny Navvaro " the players hated Enos"

Love Richt but huge indictment of his Qb room. Didn't recruit character. Curious to see how Enos recruited QBs turn out. That being said while Enos needed to go there is no doubt that he was trying to instill more discipline than the head coach. Dude was probably used to more discipline from the top. Not making excuses for Enos at all. Glad they mutually split but this is a very bad look. All the more reason to bring in Zo.
I'm not trying to knock Zo but keep in mind as Vice Prez of Player Personel in Cleveland he had a hand in putting together the team that played this past year... I wouldn't exactly say they were the best of characters and super disciplined... No it isn't his fault directly but he does share some of the blame there... So why are we so sure he comes here and all of a sudden it's gonna be a bed of roses??
For all we know he might clash with players and coaches as well...

Summary:

- Highsmith not likely

- Dan Enos was hated by entire offense and he likely hated them as well. A lot of contention. Particularly Jarren Williams

- Manny thinks Lorenzo Lingard ends up being a gator.

This guy will save the offense....

our team has a ton of soft *** kids. they need to man the **** up or get the **** out. enos was a bum the moment he went on his saban wannabe presser after UF, but the kids are also soft as ****. whoever wants out, get the **** out or man up. kids played w no heart at the end. lingard dreaming about UF since october, **** outta here. jarren williams can go find his worth in georgia. martell can take his gf out on the strip. coaching staff sucks, but the kids aren't angels by any means

I realize you're not knocking Zo, but this Cleveland team has added so much talent it's astounding. It was up to Kitchens to put it all together. Losing will bring out poor character and discipline issues; that's not on Zo! The play calling in Cleveland this year was on par with Enos!

There’s a bunch losers in that locker room and it’s not just coaches. A lot of guys lacking in character, that’s just facts.

yo when john campbell talking bout missing his cod buddy, thats another level. new coach needs to come in and be like, get the **** off twitter and video games in season. no video games if you cant read a playbook yet. if you dont like it, theres the door and enroll elsewhere

Difference is Odell Beckham is Top 5 in football at his position. You can't be above average at best and and tune out coaches. College you choose the players you want Nationally. Pros you throw money at he best available at the time. Bama recruits alot of players with not the best character. Difference is Saban has his players in check. Plus we have players with character issues but also don't love football. I was rooting for Kosi but I think Kosi loves the attention football brings more than football.

Smart? Sure, Fat Manny is one of the countless "Journalists" who spew the party line to keep in the good graces of corrupt people in power...Sound familiar? How about he exposed stuff during the season and the Herald used it's position to prevent him getting blackballed? Alas, its easier to be a PR tool than having any integrity.
I agree, I definitely should not have said "smart"...

Someone needs to clash with players and coaches here. Difference is if hired and given full control the tone is set from the top. Harder to tune out coaches when you know the guy in charge dont play. Just my opinion.

He was tough on them. That being said no one respects manny
When you do the hard a$$ routine, you better produce. When that happens most players can handle it. When you're a hard a$$ and you oversee of the worst offenses in the county, you're not going to be real popular.
