Manny Navarro on transfers

They’re not really sticking up for the program when they’re handjobbing a failed HC. It’s more coach worship than it is sticking up for the program.

The program is everything for me. That’s why I don’t give a **** about the coaches. If they’re moving the program forward I’m good with them. If not, fck em.

these folks have the blind loyalty of North Korea to the head Kim's in charge. It's actually impressive in that regard....

Dilly dilly!

This is what the fans wanted. Burn the program down every 3-4 years and wonder why no one respects the brand anymore.

Flew a banner for butch. On our way to firing our 2nd HC alumni. There's one constant in this decline and it's a fanbase of ******* idiots who couldn't manage a goldfish stand at the county fair.

And an administration that couldn’t manage even less.

Boom 💥 now move on richt!!! I’m for the program for the past 35 years and the degree on the wall backs it up,I hate to see the players suffer but they’ve quit on this guy as well!

I’d say 8 top 10 finishes in 14 years is the best resume we’ll ever hire at this program.
In a vacuum, that sounds nice. But for people who paid attention to what he did at UbaGA, it’s not good.

I don’t care about fluff in resumes. I’d rather we hire “the next” guy and not some washed dude who never really accomplished anything of significance.

Rick’s resume had him consistently on the hot seat and eventually got him fired. And the guy they hired with no resume has already exceeded anything Rick did.

His resume is what it is. There’s no fluff or vacuum. He had one of the best winning percentages in college football. I’m not saying that was important in hiring him like you’re implying, I’m just saying it is what it is. I’d agree we should go after a guy like Campbell if Richt doesn’t prove he’s the guy by the end of 2019.

It’s fluff to say he has a phenomenal resume. He doesn’t. It’s also fluff to emphasize one aspect of that resume in an attempt to make it appear “phenomenal.”

You could do that sort of cherry picking for any coach to emphasize an accomplishment. We could do it for Folden.

At one point he was very good, and at one point Blockbuster Video was the place to go on weekends for your entertainment needs. The fact that there is so much of forcing changes on him is all you need to know about where he stands

He had the 5th best winning percentage in college football among active coaches behind Meyer, Saban, B Stoops, and Patterson. Yes I’ll emphasize winning football games as the primary criterion.

Because they let him stick around for 15 years and pile up 9 win seasons. Not many coaches get the opportunity to stay at a marquee program for 15 years with such relatively average results.

Their fans sure are glad they fired his phenomenal ***.

they made a very (Kirby) Smart decision, I'd say

I’d say most coaches would get the opportunity to stay at a place like Georgia when they’re sporting the 5th highest win percentage in the country.
