Manny may gift us a spot

We are discussing the likes of Duke, JMU, etc. making the playoffs to compete for a National Championship (over us).

This is where we are at with professional college football.

Let that marinate. Process that. **** teams in; good teams out.
I don’t get the whole make a wish foundation spot for a G5 team smh..if a G5 team in any given year is talented enough to play their way into the Top 12 teams regardless of conference during the season (Boise last year) then sure put them in, but guaranteeing a 24th ranked G5 team a spot is basically like a scrimmage for any top p4 team ..95% of those matchups will be blowouts.

Thats society now
Diversity, inclusion, participation trophies
Everything is ruled by corrupt people that play off dumb people's emotions

If we're not above Notre Dame tonight and they're still below OU, the only hope we have is if we jump BYU whether that's tonight or if they lose to TTU, and Bama beats UGA which would put them over ND. That would leave ND at 10 and Miami at 11, which would (i assume) make them swap us since we would have the h2h over a team directly above us. Or they just say **** Miami and leave us at 12 regardless, which is more likely based on what we've already seen.
I still believe Miami’s real shot is the following:

- BYU loss to TT
- Bama loss to UGA by a good amount (14-20+ points).

What will happen;

- ND is not getting kicked out (hope I am wrong but if so, then Miami needs to be ranked over ND tonight).
- If Miami is not ranked over ND tonight, I don’t see it happening.
- Ole Miss - will they move down? 99.999% chance they won’t.
- Oklahoma should be #11 but they will stay 8 or will flip flop with ND and they will be #9 with Bama at #10.

- if Bama wins, they would move up significantly in the CFP rankings up to #4, IMO.

Maybe they are waiting for Penn State to hire BYU coach and use that excuse to kick BYU out... nobody cares if they whine. .. h3ck, half the Mormons in Utah support the Utes

This is definitely the last year the committee accepts the 5 conference champions as auto bids. Moving forward it’ll be just the 12 best teams, which will end up being a SEC/B10 showcase

Probably right.

This will be the x-th consecutive year where the goalposts get moved just enough to give fans the illusion that the playoff committee is objectively trying to identify the top teams.

Every year the criteria “change,” and yet nothing really changes.
