It's unfortunate that we're where we're at, but I have to agree that you solve your most immediate problem first. Salvaging recruits and getting decent transfers was urgent at the time. We all thought the UF game was going to be a bloodbath back then.

The fact is Diaz has been at Miami, the defense should not be struggling like it is. And the reality is he has surrounded himself with coordinators who aren't very good.

If he makes no changes to the staph this off season, he will he fired. And it makes no difference what happened to Jimmy, or Butch, or Golden, or Don Shula, or Jon Gruden, or, or ,or. This is now, deal with it.

Maybe I am wrong, but wasn't Manny the DC during the blowout to Wisconsin, just 5 games ago, and to LSU? I don't know what makes you all think our defense was the cats **** before? You hanging your hat on some inflated numbers from playing in the coastal? Jesus H.

Your point seems to be that because he's been here the defense should not be struggling like this. This would imply that they either didn't struggle in the past or that longevity somehow makes them better. My point was that they struggled in the past with him here, so what is the surprise they are struggling now? if you meant something else, write better, or just go to anger management class and rage blow the guy sitting next to you with your teeth.

Manny is going to have a lot of egg on his face if Miami loses to FSU. And I see it happening.

you listed 6 seniors. That is not half of 74. Of the juniors Bandy is the 1 that has had multiple starts the others are seeing their first starter minutes. It's not an excuse when it is a fact. I'm not saying we shouldn't be better than we have looked or should have another W or 2,but what you said was just false. Take the tampon out and buck up a little bit.

No need to guess. Baker is the problem with the d, as I alluded to with staph changes at the end of the year comment at the end of my post.

I still like the fact at least he talks a good game when we look like crap and admits it unlike other of our past coach’s. He made his bed with the staff he hired, we will all see what happens, obviously I want him and ya to succeed

Should his first press conference been more humble and contrite? Maybe he could have tempered expectations by telling everyone he didn't think the team was very good and they'd probably struggle to get wins? Maybe he could have started using built in excuses to take some of the heat off him in case they lost game? Didn't we hate Al Golden for this exact thing?
 
Wish the results of B-C and CMU were reversed. Thanks Canes for barely beating CMU at home before a bye week. Now this place will be a septic tank until you win convincingly again.
