Manny- LSU spread vs Georgia Pro Style. Evidence is on CBS

LMAOOOOOOOOO... "When the hate dont work, they start telling lies!"

Pro style bros have resorted to claiming top producing spread teams as their own, SAD!
It’s still a multiple offense. They beat you in different ways including spread concepts

Coach O is proof that any university can win big if theyre willing to make staff changes. Miami cant win because the admin doesnt care about winning... almost not at all.
LSU willing to spend and they also have Sabans infastructure when he was there. They know all his tactics on the trail. Even before Coach O they were pulling monsters we can only dream of having. We are banana tailpipe U now.

Miami doesnt have to be BTU, Miami chooses to be BTU. They chose to hire a yes man AD and his buddy as yes man HC. They could, if they wanted to, go get a tenured HC and an elite staff, get the ship righted, then go cheap on hires again... but they simply do not care... almost at all. Miami is like government, its just a bunch elites slapping each other's backs. Its yacht clubs, tee times, pet projects and caviar lunches for the people in charge and Manny is one of them.

We don't run a Pro Style offence (we tried, but had to fall back on Richt's trusted RPOs cos our players couldn't execute anything else).

Miami's admin does not reflect the goals and values of its fanbase. I cant think of another university that looks down on its fanbase like Miami does. Football is/was a cash cow but the fans are a massive inconvenience to them... the peasants. I know its controversial but the football fans of the city of Miami really should throw their support behind a state school that better represents them imo. I grew up a Chargers (f*ck them) fan and this (Hurricanes Football) really reminds me of how the Spanos family viewed the fans they had in San Diego.

They use spread concepts but the overall scheme is not full on spread attack..they are multiple. Use multiple groupings, formations and personnel..hence they are a multiple offense

This makes no sense.

"They aren't spread because they use multiple formations and personnel."

Every single offense in the country uses more than one formation. There isn't a single offense coming out in the exact formation every snap.

Anyway:

According to STATS Perform, 95.5% of LSU's snaps have come from the shotgun. In 2017, 39.7% percent of LSU’s snaps were out of the shotgun, the 12th-lowest rate in the FBS and the second lowest in the SEC. During Les Miles’s last five years as coach, from 2012 to 2016, 33.2% of snaps came out of the shotgun.

The personnel use has dramatically changed, too. LSU is using more wide receivers and fewer tight ends. The Tigers operated from formations with three or more receivers on 97.2% of their snaps in 2019. In Miles’s last five years, just 20% of the Tigers’ snaps were from a formation with three or more receivers.

In January, as winter workouts began at LSU, offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger walked into the quarterback meeting room, distributed a new playbook and told his players, “We’re going to the spread, baby!”

A few months later Orgeron turned to his offensive coordinator with a plea. “We’ve got to go spread,” he told Ensminger. This was a vision Orgeron held since taking over for Miles.

It's a spread offense.

Coach O must not know what his team is doing.

"We are strictly spread," Orgeron said boldly. "First time, LSU has been strictly spread. We want to be 50-50 with the run (and pass) game."

Still a multiple offense that uses spread..not one time did I say they don’t use spread concepts. All I’m saying is they are not a full spread team

It really is about the Jimmy's and the Joe's. You win games 95% of the time by who controls the line of scrimmage. LSU has a great QB, but they also have an exceptional front.
