Manny is safe per reports.

LSU lost to Troy in week 6 and finished that season 9-4. UCG lost to UM off a bye in week 13 and will finish with at least 5 losses.

Manny would have to be a complete moron to double down and not make any changes to the staff

He’d basically be guaranteeing that in 2020, anything but a ACC Coastal champ and giant turn around of the offense would garner a firing

He's supposedly an analytics guy. Roman gave us the numbers of our offense in another post . Last in the NCAA in 3rd down efficiency? That is pathetic. No way to spin this. The play calling really, really sucks at times. You can only blame your qb up to a point. We're past that point.

Larranaga is in by far the toughest conference in the nation at least. He does need to start getting it turned around soon. Don't want Blake having to pick a replacement.
Yea, Coach L gets a pass in my book since he coaches in the hardest conference. The ACC has had 3 different NC in the last five years alone, so for him to be able to compete and already having won an ACC Championship that buys him some time. The FBI scandal certainly didn't help his situation either. With that being said, he ain't getting any younger and a real AD should already have a short list of prospective hires (or a coach in waiting) ready to go NOW so that we're don't have another cluster$%^ of a coaching search like we see in football.

Not surprising. There is no way James is going to fire him in his first year after not interviewing any other candidates for the job. It would validate all the criticism he took/is taking for that decision. I'll go a step further and say Manny won't even make any significant changes to the staff. He knows his job is safe and he's going to wait to play the "fire my assistants" card until at least next season.

Of course he’s safe, how the **** could Blake James justify working another second as AD if he weren’t????

I never thought I'd see the day where this program lost to FIU. We didn't just lose, we got dominated for 35 minutes.

Manny and Blake have been this program's nail in the coffin for its slow, painful, agonizing death.

Well said. Firing Enos would cost the school an extra $2 million or so. Baker just had a kid. Nothing is happening.

I can stop waisting my time posting about how he needs to go.

Manny was safe before those reports—and anyone who needed those reports doesn't get how this whole thing works.

Fifth head coach in 14 seasons who took over a team that was 7-9 since Pitt in 2017.

A program that's been in the toilet the better part of 15 years, yet we had some yahoos yelling "12-0!", "We want Clemson!" and "Playoffs Darkhorse!" in August and they're now *shocked* that sub-par Miami is still sub-par year one with a first-year, first-time head coach.

You don't fire a guy after one year. Especially this program, where no one has been kicking down the door to take over in decades.

Diaz is getting no less than three year. Get used to it.

All that said, Manny better punt fast on Enos as dude is a fraud Tries to be the smartest guy on the field and wants to out-clever everybody, instead of pounding the football or taking what's there—and "quarterback whisperer", my ***. Perry has matured off the field, but hasn't improved much—and Williams is still the same hot mess he was earlier in the year when pressured; wins over FSU and Louisville a farce, as he had great protection in both games. Once FIU dialed up the heat; as lost as he was against Florida.

Diaz needs to find the guy that he talked about getting back in January—a guy who would run an offense that confused and frustrated defenses—cause that ain't Dan Enos.

With our schedule in 2020, a still warm corpse would garner a firing with more than 1-2 losses.

There's no realistic way to make a change on the BOT. AD is the problem. Manny's got another year. Enos maybe not.

Blake James is fair game right now.

This season is absolutely inexcusable but IF (A BIG IF) he goes 10-2 at worst next season would that be enough for the fans? I honestly don’t know how I’d feel. We know **** sure he’ll be here next season but I know this administration will be happy with anything like 7-5 or 8-4 and say he’s making progress.

Guy is a natural born loser and excuse maker.

Ran around for almost two months chirping about hiring a cutting-edge OC that plays a modern exciting style of offense and hired a ******* wet blanket boring 4-eyed loser as OC.

Guy says he doesn't care about talent and would rather have heart. He's out there charting kids who celebrate the most? He's a ******* clown.

Mandy is all talk. Next season will be his last.

I keep reading that Manny was the only guy that was interviewed for this job, how do we know that?
