Manny is pumped good god

The one area that I would like to see improvement from Manny is having the team come out focused and fast. Not all, but way to many times it looked like we rolled out of bed, put on a uniform and ran out of the tunnel. JJ looked like he was holding back a pack of wild dogs.

It was like the kid (me) in school reading the chapter that he was about to be tested on 5 minutes before the test starts. As opposed to the kid that had stayed up all night every night for the past month preparing for the same test.

Manny is generally a good half time adjustment coach but if the first half regularly goes to crap then the game planning need an adjustment.

I really don't think Manny is a dork. Who resembles a HC dork is guys like Mike Norvell and Dan Mullen. Manny's one of the cool and relatable coaches at least in our conference.

And a smaller visor? What is that, a cycling cap?

It's apparent he's happy to actually be coaching again. LET'S GO CANES! :machinegun:

King is obviously the biggest question in taking this step. He seemed pleasantly surprised with his progress.

Physically I do believe he's fine but ppl understate the mental aspect. He's been through this before so I have confidence.

I want to see a DT step up and become a star. Because if they look mediocre that's going to make the LBs look even more mediocre.

If I’m manny I would be excited too! **** you let him tell it he’s a top 5 DC in all of college and couple that with the Lashlee/King combo and we can have a really special season.

Butch and Jimmy had that “edge” to them where they brought an energy to the sidelines.

Clappy and Radio were too nice, and Al just came across as slow and a little bit simple. Manny seemed too much like a nice guy to command respect from 100 players but he seems to be growing in to the job and developing the right demeanor.

Heard an interview with Manny the other day and there was absolutely no sunshine, I like that

I said this awhile back in some thread somewhere but if Manny is going down hes at least going down swinging unlike his previous predecessors

If you listen to King's post practice interview, mentally he is fine. He may even be over eager to test the knee.

Defensively, we will need some guys to step up but I think schematically and technique wise we will see improvement due to upgrades in our coaching staff.
