This was my bowl lock, Duke beats every mediocre team they play out of conference. After the beatdown WF put on them I was confident the Dookies would roll.

If I'm Manny I actually prefer that to be the case. Defense isn't actually THAT bad but the bar has been set very low for you coming off Dook putting up a hoops-like point total against you.

Being a first time head coach, I was just looking at it through the prism of him being a glorified DC and having to fix the unit that might give up 70 to Dook before this is over.

Thanks for giving me an eye migraine though by bringing up our offensive performance (or lack thereof) against Dook.

Yep, fair point. The talent that was already here on D and just not being used properly was obviously on a different level but I don't discount the job he did here of recognizing the obvious and righting the ship.
