Manny Diaz will get our ish right, or die trying.

drives me nuts when people constantly say resources and money are a problem here. i can promise you it's not. there are billionaires, as in plural, on this board and very wealthy alums. the problem, the board and administration just doesnt care about football as much as we'd like. we have plenty of money.

i disagree, football brings in lots of revenue if your team is good, if we had the money and resources, I believe we'd use it.

well, we got an indoor facility in 2018. so, no we wouldn't because we haven't. we have had billion, with a B, dollar fundraisers. we have plenty of money. that's a fact.

One thing I’ll give manny so far is that culture wise, he gets it... don’t forget, he was a huge Miami fan too... he knows what the expectations are for the school. He’s not some penn state loser, he knows how Miami was built and wants to get back to that.

If he has the ability to do it is another thing, and only time will tell, but Manny gets it, ill give him that

Okay so now that most of you on this board is off f****** suicide watch.

Our best hope would have been 10 and 2.

Now say 8-4.

Growing pains. Sadly we could have won both games.

Manny is a serious Gen X guy. Knows the past, plays the future. I am Gen X. Most of what I hear is that we are becoming salty ****s.

We serious. Manny will right this ship, and fire coordinators if he needs to.
Mark my words.
From hearing the kids having the run in stadium this week.

Manny, like us. He does know the Hurricanes must start winning now.

We are a very tired and unforgiving fan base.

Fully agree. Diaz is wired different than recent coaches we've had.

Completely buy the Gen X argument. I'm the same age and know how hard I'm swinging to make a dent at this phase of my life and career.

This is the time when legacies are built and it's a race against the clock; not as much about time drying up, but those prime years to fire at a high level.

Toss in that he's a Miami-bred kid whose dream it was to lead (and turn this program around), as well as the immediate impact he had on dismantling and revamping Goldenofrio's garbage defense—it's not a far stretch to believe he'll get it done.

8 - 4 is completely unacceptable this year! We have a schedule that Jeremy Foley would have wet dreams over. We only leave the state of Florida to play 3 games! The Coastal is in ultra dumpster fire mode this year and with the possible exception of FSU (who is circling the drain right now themselves), we out talent ever single other team remaining on our schedule. If we lose any more regular season games this coaching staff should be fired on the spot for pure incompetence. The part that's the most infuriating is that the Coastal is a dumpster fire every year and we also out talent almost everyone on our schedule every year, yet we still manage to lose games and lose the Coastal. And the worst part is that the rest of the Coastal is so incompetent that they give us multiple chances to get back in and win it but we somehow manage snatch defeat from the jaws of victory every single time. It's like Groundhog Day every year where we have to endure the exact same garbage and I'm thankful that a lot of the fanbase won't tolerate it anymore.

Vegas feels we will overcome this start, so there’s hope
Nothing like the sweet smell and celebration of success. As disappointed as I have been with this season’s start, I pray Manny is what we all think he is. Matter of fact I hope he succeeds, I want him to succeed. I’m so dang tired of the dry hand jobs we’ve been getting from the recent past hires. If Vegas thinks we good, I have faith. I just hope and pray this staff isn’t another three and out.
