Hey Manny I know you are new and I can see that you bleed Hurricane blood through and through, but you have to be frustrated as ****, like many of us are, about out Team's inconsistent performance. Here are 2 suggestions on how to fix it:

1)All of these fancy drills we run in practice, example-dummy hitting, catching passes drills, 20 MPH speed timing, etc., etc, etc, don't mean a hill of beans when it comes to game performance. How about just forgetting those and just scrimmage, scrimmage and scrimmage some more at full speed throughout the week.. This will accomplish several things, such as being physically prepared for the games, practicing harder than actual games, slowing games down for players, letting the best performance players rise to the top and just physically and mentally being much, much better prepared than the other Team and basically proceed to beat the **** out of them. Isn't that what Jimmy Johnson Team's used to do? Don't give this NCAA crap for I can f%&*$#@ guarantee you that the Clemson's and Alabama's of the world do this.

1)Want to eliminate stupid penalties during games? Talking to Don Shula for a couple of hours who was the best at this. He's just an hour away from this.

That's it!!

Just the world we live in these days, gosh forbid players had to do two a days, just the softer more cautious world we’re in...but specifically for Miami these days, we probably couldn’t even risk injury in quite a few areas due to lack of depth. Saw Scaife get rolled over when Zion whiffed the first time, thought his knee was done and Miami’s season, thank god he was ok

I guarantee you that the great College teams are all doing this regardless of the society we live in. What you are referring to is "Pro-Football". If player's can't do this then there's the transfer portal. It's got to be a cultural change and it's got to be muscle memory. Players don't have much time to think out there. Once players do this and get used to it, they will be better prepared and the game will slow down for them. Injuries are part of the game but they mostly happen when players are not prepared, out of position. It works!!

Definition of Insanity-"Continue doing what you've always done and you'll always get what you've always gotten".
