Manny Diaz Show: Alabama Recap

That’s because we already lost. Come out and be honest. “We misjudged who should start on the right side of the O-Line. We made some bad play calls that put our players in bad spots. The game would have been much closer if we called better plays. We have made corrections and will continue to do so. The Turnover Chain is an individual award for getting turnovers, I will keep incentivizing our players to make plays and keep trying even when we’re being blown out… it’s like making a hole-in-one… you can be having a poor day at the golf course but you still celebrate a hole-in-one.”

Instead he comes out and pretends that his team had a great showing with a lot of positives… 🤡🤥😔
Did you listen to the interview at all?

He admitted we were outmatched. He admitted he made some bad calls as the DC. He cited some big turning points and personal failures (not calling a TO after that bull**** no-Safety call).

Ah nevermind, so many of you just want to burn it all down if we're not instantly catapulted into the title picture 2 years into a HC's tenure cos we're Miami.

Article is mostly trash delusional adding in GT and Duke HCs, but one can dream about removing Manuela.
Wait, why wouldn't the GT HC be on the hotseat? He's in year 3 now, as a 6-17 record and just got punked by NIU. Why is it delusional that they want him gone?!

Al Golden would have turned his phone off.

Richt would have waffled. Diaz fronted up and took it like a man. I maintain that I don't think he's the answer to get us back to the promised land, but the **** he gets from this fanbase is unreal.
He has to get **** from the fan base and any other HC who coaches here. We demand excellence and we have sent what it looks like. So we saw through the bs (well some of us). The seat is a little warm right now as it should be.

AL GOLDEN 2.0

I threw up in my mouth hearing him cite irrelevant statistics to sugar coat a curb stomping. He actually said at one point that it was frustrating we let them off the hook. This man will never be a champion, ever.
Not the old Dennis Green we let em off the hook quote 😂😂😂😂😂

Not getting blown out against any opponent worth a **** would be a good start.

No one here is asking for a national title, christ man.

Are you kidding me? He was mystified that Bama held the ball and that we couldn't stay on the field. Maybe its because instead of using your strengths which are the perimeter players and Mallory in the passing game you decided to try to establish the run against the best front in the nation. What a joke.

I would guess because that was gonna take a HUGE rebuild coming off the roster they inherited to actually be a real program, coming off those mini olineman from triple option alone is process to turn that roster over unless you hit heavy on transfer portal..

You do realize, GT is in year 3 of adopting the forward pass as a routine play concept?

The same team, a mere 8 games into adopting this cutting edge offensive technique, beat Manuela.

But apparently anyone can beat Miami, so he shouldn't really be hanging his hat on that.

People don't understand how hard it is to take 270 pound knee chopping OL to Power 5 front up blockers, its hard. That mean its gonna take atleast 3 years and more likely 4 to get a proper rotation of them.
