Manny Diaz putting too much pressure on new DB's

I don't see why all the panic. They will have to make adjustments. Didn't particularly like the soft coverage. But I see no reason to be freaking out after 1 game. No way. We have 4 new starters in the secondary. Redwine is at a new spot. At the end of the day, these guys have a track record. They will make adjustments.

Bethune picked on Delaney like they've seen him before...he is a guy "on their level" and just focused on him on several drives and he was very slow to react to what I thought was a very slow pass and catch tandem.

Overall, defense seemed pretty lethargic. Just went through the motions, it seemed. I'm not alarmed, but its of note. I'm expecting a bulldozing next week of Arky State though. Get that lethargy out of the way and start putting it together.
 
Overall defense did look lethargic, and gave up way to many 3rd down conversions. What was most concerning was a problem that we just can't seem to shake, penalties in the red zone. We're just killing ourselves time and time again.
This has to be a real high priority for Richt to correct and soon
 
We'll get better, although I've never been a Manny Diaz fan. I think he's way overrated as a coordinator.
