Manny Diaz - Player Development

My man said that the drops from last year are actually more than this year.

No chit Sherlock! U played 11 games last yr, it’s only been 3 games thus far & we’re on pace to smash that bih.

Smh.

He also said it's from guys who have come through before. Well, that's what coaching is. Making sure you're putting the players in a position to consistently be making those same plays. Instead, players get worse in his system.

This dude is such a clown. I have no faith in this staff or team anymore. Only 3 games in and havent played a single ACC game but 1-2 feels like 4-8. Like the season is already lost. Don't expect them to improve or adjust at all as sad as that sounds.

WTF does he mean “recruiting classes of the last 2-3 years, and a youth movement”???

He’s been here 6 years! He OWNS the entire flipping defense and then some.

Get this dude outta my **** face

The longer these kids stay at the U under manny the worse they get at Football. Too many examples to name!
Very good point.

This is a topic that has been discussed by some on here but largely overlooked or dismissed. Especially, when defending coaches to the bitter end.

Players are criticized very often on here for leaving early. Consider that some players, whether ready to leave college or not, may want to leave to get away from poor coaching.

We have had poor coaching for nearly 2 decades and this is not lost on the players, player's families and their circle. A lot more players than we know of have probably left becasue they simply did not trust the staff they were under.

Hopefully this changes, but just consider all the players that have been criticized for leaving early, but a few, just may have had their reasons due to coaches.
