Basically said they knew coach Kul was looking to move on. seems like he didnt even care.

Maybe not Miami but boy did he love him some Keyes and the fishing. When all said and done he’s moving down there.

This makes no sense, because there was NFL interest in him at Missouri. I think he just wasn't a Miami guy. I don't think he liked recruiting, and at Bama he won't have to worry about that. I hope the wheels fall off soon at Bama and he ends up coaching at Toledo.
 
Yep, said Kul had some goals he's trying to achieve and they knew he was gone.

Thought it was interesting that he talked about how Jess Simpson will improve the staff with player evaluation and player acquisition. Clear shot at how the staff realized Kul wasn't a good recruiter.

That's what stuck out to me the most. Sounded like Kul just didn't like recruiting.

He has interviewed for nfl jobs every offseason but apparently is as good at selling to NfL teams as he is at selling to recruits.

It’s a lock he will be interviewing for nfl after 2018 season too.
 
UnKool was as good as it gets as a teacher and X's and O's guy, but was an absolute horrendous recruiter. I'll take the trade off.

im not saying simpson is an upgrade until i see what he can do. however, he looks very high energy. we shall see.
