School currently gives about 500k for recruiting. Clemson gives 1.5 mil. Bama and UGA are north of 2 mil. No credible coach wants to be at a school that isn't willing to invest in the program. Mark Richt had to literally pay out of his own pocket to help get a practice facility built.

No one can fire the BOT. They don't care about winning. That's the end of the story for Miami football. Not every fairytale has a happy ending.
 
He's a nole grad. I've been convinced he's an undercover nole sent here to put the final nail in the coffin.

It has been over for a long time. Sad thing is that this is not the desirable job everyone thinks it is.

This. Honestly, let's go triple option and just be a pain in the *** team to play. I'm done dreaming of a return to glory. Monken will come here for 2m a year.

It could be. No income tax, great weather, fun city, top notch stadium, awesome recruiting area. But at the end of the day, the school itself is just happy to ride on the coattails of the ACC so it can pretend to be a good academic school (its not even close anymore)

I don't know why people say its not desirable....The most fertile hs recruiting ground in the nation, arguably the easiest division in a P5 conference with a winning history and record number nfl players. The right coach could turn Miami around. Also no state income tax....

The admin sucks and the investment in this fb program is not there.
