But then you have to consider having no chance of making any post season play.

Miami is going to get brutalized on the trail over this and lose more than they win.

Any top prospect would have to think very hard in choosing Miami IF post season play was a big consideration...it just isn't going to happen at Coral Gables with any probability.
Nah only fans think like this..college players don’t have this mindset especially QBs they are more confident in themselves then that, Carson Beck came here cause he saw what we did for Cam Wards stock & I’ll bet any amount of money that he fully believed he could get us in the playoffs..unfortunately he **** the bed against Louisville & SMU

Interesting. Remind me - Did Bama win or lose to a **** FSU team? I can’t recall.
Some of you are brainless.

I'm not talking about Alabama. I'm saying if Miami did its job and beat far inferior opponents rather than losing, this isn't even a discussion. Handle business and stop leaving it in the hands of corrupt people.

Miami needs to look at itself first before pointing fingers. We all know Miami will never get the benefit of the doubt, so win your games in this lame *** conference.

Chesney goes to UCLA. Does not coach JMU in playoff. Duke beats UVA in ACC-CG. CFP ranks Duke ahead of JMU in the unranked rankings. Duke goes to CFP and loses by 70 points.

Please let this absurdity happen

Clemson went undefeated every year? I must have been hallucinating when they were known for “Clemsoning” and only have 1 undefeated season under Dabo
Did I say Clemson went undefeated? No. I said they dominated the conference.

5 conference losses in an 8 year span. It took them five years to equal the amount of conference losses we had this year alone with a huge talent advantage.

The ACC is operating like a G5 conference, at both the school level and administrative. The SEC and BIG10 don't give a f*** about conference championship games. The teams playing in that game are already in the playoffs.

Pat Narduzzi couldn't imagine a world where they beat GT, Notre Dame, and Miami and make it into the playoffs as an at large. There was absolutely a path for Pittsburgh to be considered for an at large at the time they played Notre Dame. And even if it didn't matter this year, ACC teams beating teams from other conferences matters over the long term. It could matter for Pitt in 2026 or 2027.

We need to get the f*** out of this sorry conference. If Miami is in the BIG10 or SEC we're in the playoffs last year and this year.

This will only widen the ACC is a trash conference bias that already exists.

Irrelevent comment.

We had two tough losses - both to teams we should have beaten but also to two teams who are actually good and went 8-4.

Are we punishing teams for bad losses or rewarding teams for good wins?

That has nothing to do with Miami - that has everything to do with the unfairness in the sport.

TAMU lost to a mediocre UT team. Bama lost to a horrible FSU team. Wins should count more than losses.

Because if we don’t play strong OOC opponents, then we never have a shot even if we went 8-0 in conference.
