Manny Diaz is going to coach in the ACC Championship Game.

This. I’m rooting for Duke t/w in a gross display of football skill and competence just to highlight how terrible this conference is.
6-6 regulation not from 4 field goals, but from 6 safeties. A final score of 8-6 after a 5 OT barn burner.

After being in big east and acc , we were at our best as an independent.
ND has it all figured out , go independent free of all the leagues issues and favoritism.

Go independent and go head to head with ND win and get all the fruits .

We were alway better as an independent, when we do this you’d be surprised who follows I wouldn’t be surprised is FSU jumps independent .

Be independent and free to rule and feed .

UM and FSU doesn't have the same national support that ND enjoys. They couldn't do what that program does even if they combined forces

he probably had a few too many, he knows we are good and making some playoff runs under Mario, he said so, he just questions if he can win a title, fair, we all do, so few coaches actually do.
But we stacking and winning now
Why would i want to waste any more time last night. We won't make any runs with Mario, he's literally never made a CFP or playoff run. NEVER.

Because BC beat Syracuse. What an absolute joke of a league.
A joke it is.
I'm with you, but It was a 4 game difference in conference opponents wins.

Here's the problem...
Duke is credited with 13 conference wins vs teams they lost to.
If you add up the conference wins against teams they beat, their total is 19, tied with us.

There's the "better losses" working it's way in again.

They need to get rid of the ACCCG. Because the way they have it set up, you’re disincentivized to play a strong OOC schedule. You’re better off doing what Duke did in the eyes of the ACC brass - lose to a crap slate of OOC teams (Elon - W, Illinois - got smoked, Tulane -L, and UConn -L) and focus solely on winning ACC games.

The only ‘signature’ win they have is against Clemson.

Do not get rid of conference champ games. You either go back to divisions or you change the tie breaker to CFP rankings.

I'm all for putting PLENTY of blame on Mario for not having us prepared and for being too hands off. BUT YOU CANT JUST ALWAYS HAVE A MOVING BAR. When you guys say it's Mario getting involved in the offense, we pound the ball and we play conservative etc. Well what ultimately cost us each of those games was passing plays in horrible circumstances and **** reads. If the usual bar is in place can't really blame 4 int against Louisville and two in critical moments against SMU on Mario. PUT SOME BLAME ON PLAYERS TOO. Mario wasn't ****** Lightfoot's stupid *** hitting a QB after the whistle on a ****** deadball! As much as I blame Mario and Maribel for the olines brain farts all season long at a certain point you gotta say maybe bell and Cooper and whatever the centers name is should have a brain and know not to move until they see the ball snapped. Mario didn't have anything to do with heatherman not figuring out basic adjustments at the line against Louisville that would've completely shut down the quick passing game allowing the pass rush to effect the game. **** I don't remember who it is but someone and I were literally discussing coverage issues with too much cushion becoming an issue the entire week before. Yet it took us losing two games before we made any adjustments. Not everything can be on him. BUT SURE THE **** ENOUGH IS cause this is some ****** bull**** yet another season goes by where we get screwed out of a conference championship and more than likely a playoff appearance.
Its pure insanity. Player drops touchdown, its Marios fault. Player drops pass, that is intercepted, its Marios fault. Refs change the rules mid game to allow a catch that has NEVER been a catch, blame Mario. Player falls down in front of Francis, holding call, blame Mario. Player from SMU beat for a touchdown, grabs Marion. Ref throws flag, then picks it up.....Mario again. The plays I just mentioned, ACTUALLY DECIDED THE GAME.

But I figured it out, theres a narrative to be pushed. And some of these people posting and agreeing with this nonsense have no idea what they are even looking at. The ACC is actively trying to ***** us out of wins. I googled the number of holding calls against our opponents....google pulled up multiple things and was confused at how we have a great dline with NFL talent and the lack of holding calls, it was hilarious to read. It called it an statistical anomaly... :ROFLMAO:

Once they went away from divisions and loaded the conference with teams who often only have one or two common opponents they should have either ended the CCG or went to a ranking tie breaker system using the CFP rankings. The fact that a 7-5 team tied with 4 others in conference play is going to the championship game over 3 ranked CFP teams is a disservice to the conference. But it is the ACC that we’re talking about. It would be evidentiary exhibit 1B (1A is a mashup of our best officiating clips) in the lawsuit to get us out of this conference.

Is Clemson even a signature win this year?

I agree with you. Strength of schedule / CFP rankings should matter, and if they don’t then the ACCCG is a joke.

We have a team that lost to Tulane and UConn representing our conference on the big stage in the championship game.

The ACC is going to have to rework the tiebreakers. Not having CFP ranking after head to head and common opponents is terrible. It shouldn’t come down to two bottom feeders the last game of the season affecting teams SOS.
