Manny Diaz is going to coach in the ACC Championship Game.

Theoretically they could have if UGA/TAMU/BAMA/OLE MISS lost all their non conference games, but the point is they had the same issue as the ACC.. a logjam of teams with the same conference record and they decided it the same way.
Their top teams are never collectively as bad as the ACC’s. And they have the media machine behind them. It’s not the same thing. The ACC has been a **** show having more total winners than anybody. It’s not like ACC chaos is new. And they still didn’t adapt like they should have to protect their top teams, knowing their a 1 bid league. The American and the Mountain West, who are also 1 bid leagues were smart enough to.

Dook winning it would be the most ACC thing ever!!! :rk5i6fxwjlgev5j6.jpg:
No kidding! It would also be a good thing for us as the playoff committee is under zero obligation to invite a 5 loss ACC Champion. If Duke wins I believe the committee would have 10-2 Miami as the sole ACC representative over ACC Champion Duke(8-5) and ACC runner up Virginia(10-3).

Lost in this discussion is the sheer stupidity of the ACC bringing Cal and Stanford in for no ******* reason at all. What do Cal and Stanford bring? Academics, which is what the ****heads in Charlotte cloak themselves in.

The addition of those two teams is what brought about this schedule where the top teams dont end up playing each other. If we didnt have to play Stanford this year, we would have played UVA or GA Tech or Duke. This applies to the other teams as well.

And no one would have to make that stupid trip to the Bay Area for games. Look what almost happened to us at Cal last year. Look at SMU today.

You'll notice the SEC was strategic in who they added. The ACC was, well ACC-like in their approach.

They brought those schools in for the votes.

Very telling that people are more mad at the conference or Duke than our HC whose style lost us two games.
They act like the fat **** is a brand new coach that did not know that style points matter or that you should kneel to run out the clock.

Remember when Connor Lew decommitted and went auburn, a lot of these posters congratulated him, that’s when you know what time it is. They never do that to other players

We’ll never play for anything significant under Mario. He’s had a decade to prove he can do something of significance and he hasnt
