I think more will come of this down the road. The ACC knows this isn't a good look, especially if Duke beats UVA, they would be left out of the CFP. Not only will alot of schools realize how terrible this is set up, but schools are going to make a stronger case to be released from their obligations to the league. Miami's opponent WL was hampered by teams like FSU and VT (2-6)

The same tiebreaker decided the SEC BTW. How it's Georgia/Alabama even though Ole Miss/Texas A&M have same conference record.
