Manny Diaz Coaching Reality

This program is so dead it stinks to high heaven. Just rotten to the core and far beyond any way to fix it. Have no idea what these BOT chuckleheads (headed by a bossy female a-hole who couldn't tell a football from a damned pumpkin) will pull out of their collective ****s next, but you can bet they will just make things worse.
was talking to a guy the other day that is a fan of another school and he said "the Canes program is so dead and smells so bad that buzzards wouldn't even eat it "..

Based upon the coaching results of the people Manny does know, maybe an entire staff of people he has NEVER even spoken to would be a good idea. Accidentally we might get a couple good ones. While we are there, can we revisit the list of coaches our stupid BOT, AD and adminstration has not hired of even interviewed and randomly pick one of those for HC. Much better chance of getting good coach that way. They weren't looking for JJ or the basketball coach and Butch was like last person after everyone they wanted said no. Sometimes it is just better to go against the "experts".
First call should be to Petri. He's already had two stints at Miami and produced each time. DL problems automatically fixed and you have your "grey beard" on the staff.

they are cheap bro. 3.5 million for a coach is at the bottom tier of coaches for big programs

If I'm an OC and I'm working my way up, I'd view Miami as the greatest stepping stone. Think about it, if you could bring Miami's offense back to national prominence, you'd have your choice of offers.

Man enos is supposedly making 1m which would make him one of the highest paid ocs. Kool when he was hired was on of the highest paid d-line coaches and then they gave him a raise in year 2. They was paying thomas brown a lot. Diaz was said to be making good money as the dc. They will pay a select few.

An OC and DC we will pay respectable money, but we need 8 other important coaches and we won’t pay them. Those guys need to recruit, coach guys up successfully and connect with them, and that costs money we don’t typically have to succeed.

We paid Diaz one mill for DC and I guarantee it’s around the same if not more for Enos. There are much better coordinators than we have getting paid less

We will pony up for DC and OC, but not the other position coaches who are just as important. There’s a reason none of our position coaches are looked at as successful assistants throughout NCAA

Our last two DLine coaches got hired at Bama and the Atlanta Falcons. We have the money to get good position coaches. Diaz just missed and he’s gonna have to clean house and get it right or he’ll be gone next year

Right but Kool left because he wasn’t making what he wanted and left for Bama for double the salary, and Simpson is making more at Falcons. They also committed to coach for Mark Richt who had a successful track record and coaching tree

Like mentioned before even if Manny keeps his job and cleans house, say fires everyone, who in the **** is be going to convince to come and become assistants?? He would have just had a Terrible year, no coaching tree (outside of guys he already employees).

Either way this could be disastrous
I don't know, but I have been told that money can sometimes move mountains.

The type of money we would need to move mountains doesn’t exist. Why do you think we didn’t land Kevin Patrick or Seider from Penn st or Mirabel and instead we go Stoud, Barry and Hickson????? Because we couldn’t afford them. We spent all or money getting Enos and Field and had to go shopping at the dollar store for the rest of he staff.

If we had money sure but we don’t or we do and won’t use it for football
