Like mentioned before even if Manny keeps his job and cleans house, say fires everyone, who in the **** is be going to convince to come and become assistants?? He would have just had a Terrible year, no coaching tree (outside of guys he already employees).

Either way this could be disastrous

Could be? The only way to fix this is clean house. Even then, the BOT would hire another yes man, or woman. We are basically a blind squirrel hoping to find a nut at this point.
 
As long as the job pays a decent salary, assistants will come. I'm not saying they will be quality hires--and they would fill a assistantship under an AD that is likely to make them a head coach. Why not?!

Based upon the coaching results of the people Manny does know, maybe an entire staff of people he has NEVER even spoken to would be a good idea. Accidentally we might get a couple good ones. While we are there, can we revisit the list of coaches our stupid BOT, AD and adminstration has not hired of even interviewed and randomly pick one of those for HC. Much better chance of getting good coach that way. They weren't looking for JJ or the basketball coach and Butch was like last person after everyone they wanted said no. Sometimes it is just better to go against the "experts".

It will be disastrous this will be one of the worst coaching tenures in UMs history we may not recover from it. **** we haven’t recovered from the other bad ones, we may be just who we are now.
 
Not too worried about this. Money talks.

I don't know too many coordinators who'd be willing to turn down a million dollars, even for one season.

Plenty of quality guys out there who'd make the jump.

My fear w Manny is he wont know how to recognize them. His dumb *** will go out and get Michigan States OC.
 
This program is so dead it stinks to high heaven. Just rotten to the core and far beyond any way to fix it. Have no idea what these BOT chuckleheads (headed by a bossy female a-hole who couldn't tell a football from a damned pumpkin) will pull out of their collective ****s next, but you can bet they will just make things worse.

Nothing new here. Many CIS posters have already covered these issues countless times.

We're between a rock and a hard place. It'll take a LOT of $$$ to get rid of Diaz this year. I just don't see it happening unless he totally sh**s the bed.
