Manny Diaz. Cant help but laugh

I honestly don't understand the hate for Diaz. The guy shouldn't have been named head coach, but he was and it didn't workout. He was never an *** to the fans and at least tried and was willing to make changes unlike Golden who refused to fire his buddy despite how consistently ****** the defense was.

Why the cut edits?

Also, are his nipples hard?
Yes, they are, but he wears these…

Up for debate. Neither are impressive for sure. What is Mario’s conference record for the last 3 years since that is what you are comparing to Manny’s conference record.
I will answer my own question since I am the stats man. Mario went 3-2 in conference play in 2020 (short season), 7-2 in conference play in 2021, and 3-5 in conference play in 2022. So 13-9 in conference play the last 3 years.

That’s a worse ratio than Manny. We will definitely need to see improvements this coming season or @NorthernVirginiaCane might have a legit gripe.

I have never understood hatred of the coaches we let go.

They all wanted to succeed more than any of us. It's their livelihood and they had millions of reasons to do their absolute best.

To me, as others have noted, I don't lay the blame at their feet in that they were in over their heads in most cases. It's like hiring a guy for a job he isn't prepared for and not giving him the tools to succeed. Considering the pay upgrade they all got, there's no way they aren't taking the job.

I don't dislike any of them really. Golden is the only one I'd consider disliking, but I also admire his loyalty to his best friend.

So what's the problem here? Cheese ad or whatever you want to call it. ****, it happens everywhere. I wonder how many posters here had a shirt with a tie on it. To me, bar none, that is the silliest thing I've ever seen associated with a college football team.

Dude. I don't give a F what his record was at Oregon. We are arguing performance at Miami.

Manny was 2nd out of 14 acc coaches in conference record with zero resources ...

I'm not mad at Manny for being in over his head. I'm mad at him for being a clown with small man's syndrome while our head coach and representing the program.

And Golden lost my respect three different times. First he hid from the press while trying to land the PSU HC job prior to them selecting Franklin, was way too cute about it. Second he refused to fire D'O and give up on that old school BiG defense when it was painfully obvious that he was killing the program. Finally when he acted like he was the victim after being fired and ended up in a legal dispute with Miami.

Never had the same dislike for Coker, Shannon or Richt (Richt I still have great admiration for).
Spot on. I was going to type a similar response until I read yours.

Manny wanted to be here badly. And succeed. Even came back after taking another job, which couldn’t have been easy. Just wasn’t good enough for that position. That’s on the knuckleheads that hired him once Richt gave them a friggen free pass. Without even really going through a search, eval or process.

Al Golden. F him. The flirting, or even begging for them to take him, with PSU was disgusting. The uniforms with the wings. The god d*amn photos under his watch. And his record v FSU. His tie. The pillars. The cheeseburgers. His buddy. F him.

Ok then. Give Mario three years of coaching at Miami and then you can compare his record to Manny's three years of coaching at Miami. If you are saying Mario's first year at Miami was a failure, just like Manny's, I agree 100% with you there.
