Manny Diaz 4 HC!!

If I had a choice right this second between Mork and Diaz, I’m going with Diaz. Mork is a dinosaur that’s about to go extinct.

Diaz is not the answer. He has no HC experience and his Defenses don't do great against good offenses. !

I don’t know if I’d hire Diaz because I would prefer a new school offensive guru.

But this HC experience model is antiquated. 3 of the 4 HCs in the playoffs this year had no HC experience prior to being hired as HC.

Usually, if you can get a guy with experience it’s either very low level experience that doesn’t translate to a marquee gig. Or you’re hiring a guy with warts like Folden or Rickety.

When the time comes, would we seriously want to go down this road AGAIN? Our whole downward spiral started by offering our former OC then we didn’t learn a **** thing and said what the **** let’s just try our DC. Then for good measure we offered a head coach of TEMPLE and then a washed up fired head coach. I don’t think we can afford to take another risk as much as I like Diaz. I think our next hire has to be a homerun or fold.

Diaz may end up being great, but needs to cut his teeth somewhere else first.

Sad reality check though, the way this AD and the BOT handle coaching hires and spending the money (or not) to man a complete competent staff, we may now be in the realm of where brand new head coaching prospects go to cut their teeth for better opportunities. I hate to admit that...but it sure appears to be heading in that dirrection.

Really against any top 10 team we would struggle on defense. I do think he would be a better HC than Morky Mork and the Morky Bunch!!!

CIS is not perfect by any means. However, it is the best thing running for Canes info, and has been for quite some time. I beg of you, quit contaminating the board with seperate threads that are discussing the same topic, which is,.....Richt Sucks (I agree)!

No, I am not the thread police, nor do I care to be. However, I would love to come home from a good/hard day of work and come to this site to find valuable info, without having to sift through a bunch of the same redundant ****, which is more than likely, ****, that is being spewed by grown men who....
1. Has a wife/girlfriend, but can't get ***** (she's f'ucking another guy)
2. Unsure about his sexuality, which is why his wife/girlfriend is f'ucking another guy.
3. Needs his mother to tell him that everything is going to be okay, becuase his wife/girlfriend is f'ucking another guy.
4. ..is not a grown man, but is a little *****, who has weekly "get together's" at the mall or some random skating parks to discuss Richt sucking, because he heard his father talk about it amongst his work buddies. Clearly his father has nothing else to do, due to the lack of ***** that he was receiving at home, because his wife/girlfriend is f'ucking another guy.

I am all for dialogue that is of substance. Being in your feelings, because your ***** has not been licked in a while, is another matter.

It’s time. There will be bumps in the road with HC/OC management styles, but at least you know that he’ll be able to hire coaches he can fire and find ones that fit our culture.
