Anyone that would down vote that story is simply NOT a Canes fan. Manny Diaz is a spectacular defensive coordinator and human being who will one day be the head coach of the Miami Hurricanes.

On the other hand, you have no code or honor...just pathetic!

Our fans surely love falling for personality and stories over actual results.

Guy is a good but not great DC. Who cares about his story.

And they probably aren't downvoting the story. They are down voting your post suggesting the story makes any god **** bit of a difference in anything that matters: production, wins, losses, expectations.

Diaz, has done an excellent job, as has Richt. First, and I'm stating the obvious here. All one has to do is read the negative comments which contain grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills, that don't even reach the 4th grade educational level. So it's safe to say, 98% of these negative people never attended the "U", or finished high school for that matter.

Second, it's also obvious 95% of the negative commenters here never strapped on a jock in their lives for an athletic event, let alone coached one. Yet these same clowns whine, and complain, about the excellent job Richt's staff has done. If any of these commenters actually knew what they were talking about, they would be coaching somewhere, instead of making stupid comments on a message board about the players, and coaches.

Times have certainly changed. If we had so-called negative fans like some of the idiots I see making comments about the players, and coaching staff, I can tell you as players, we would have knocked the pure living snot out of some of the negative commenters here if we ever met them. I'm sure the current players would do the same. Class of "75"

Seriously, you are a 5 alarm imbecile. You have NO idea what it takes to be successful or to be a real man. What I wouldn't pay to see you make those ignorant comments directly to Manny's face. But of course, you cowards never do that you only hurl hate from behind a computer.
