Manny coaching the D again...

Fair enough....but them he also deserves criticism for making a sh1tty DC hire. Had he made a better hire and not just hired his friend he woukd not have to "take the reigns back"
I see this argument that "Manny shouldn't have hired his friend" quite a bit, and honestly it confuses me. Clearly, Manny is close with Baker, but he didn't hire him because he's his friend... This is not a Jon Richt or even D'Orito situation. Manny hired Baker because he was his protege and he figured he could get him for cheap from La Tech and maintain pretty much the same defensive philosophy. That's a pretty fair move by Manny -- one that not many people on here questioned. And when it clearly wasn't working out 5 games in, Manny stepped in. I can't find much fault in that.

Well we shall see if this is a "a Jon Richt or even D'Orito situation" when the season ends. If he fires him or not.

Baker still calling plays. 15 still not on the field enough. Too many delayed blitzes from 30 yards deep still. And too many DE covering WRs.

UVA bailed us out but we sure were better than last week
