Manny cashes in big

He has a decent staff and he definitely has learned from his failures at Miami and his time at Penn State.

His OC is legit.

Patke as the DC is a lot better of a coach than people give him credit for.

Feeley is a great strength and conditioning guy.

Good for him. Congrats on the title.

He was 16-9 in conference at Miami. 2nd to Clemson in a big conference. This wasn't a failure. The schedule was ridiculous and he lost some hard luck decisions.

Then he was very successful at Penn State and now he's been successful at Duke.
 
With such a high contract, do you guys think they put serious money into recruiting? They do for basketball. If anyone else in the ACC can pony up cash, it’s them. And with VT stepping it up and Dabo now hitting the portal, the ASiSi is going to step up.

They need to pony up big time, because Manny is a smart guy, but a substandard recruiter. I don’t hate the guy, I don’t think he’s a terrible coach, I just think he’s a really poor recruiter and there were other issues I have with a coaching which I won’t get into here. So Duke, if they want any kind of success going forward, needs to pump a **** ton of money into recruiting and pay top dollar.

Nothing personal against Manny - it's not his fault the moron Blake James just gave him the job after Richt retired. He should have never been offered the job immediately after he already was hired at Temple.

He's at the perfect place for him now where 7-8 wins gets him permanent job security.

Schools are so desperate for leadership they will
Do Anything to find or keep average leadership. But give him credit, they gave him an opportunity and he took the prize!
