Manny and Dan deserve 3 years...

Because he played a far tougher schedule than we will this year with year with a Bama team that I'd argue didnt have as much talent as we do now.

Wait, Nick Saban lost six games because it was a "tough schedule"? That's it? Why didn't he have them prepared to be able to only lose one or two?

But he's got way too much talent on the other side for it to take three seasons to get this ship righted.

Where exactly is this so called talent along the offensive line? He is starting two true freshmen and exactly one starter with more than two yrs exp in college. This line may be dominant in two years but it is a huge weakness right now. Enos can't scheme around it or cover it up. Most of our line is physically and mentally immature. Problems like our offensive line situation simply can not be fixed overnight.

The bolded part is absolutely the #1 problem with the Miami fan base over the last 15 years. You guys think we have talent, and we don't.

I've got my firesuit on ****'s go ahead and blast me...

This talk of firing Manny or Dan is STUPID as ****....

These guys have true pedigree and history of success.

They took over a sinking program from a coach who was getting middle-ranked recruiting classes followed by 4-5 stars jumping ship after 2018.

You guys expected that they would turn this thing around in 9 MONTHS?? (Manny hired in Dec 2018)

You expected a Top 10 team within 9 months of a coaching hire??

You're a FU*KING football IDIOT if you think that's possible unless the team was ALREADY LOADED like 2001..... and this AIN'T 2001 by about 1 million miles...

Flame away dummies....

Just this retarded Gator's weekly rant. Nothing to see here.

Do we have enough talent to compete for a national championship? Absolutely not but we have enough talent to win the ACC coastal. No doubt in my mind Saban would be able to win the ACC coastal in his first year with this team. I doubt Manny would of won 5 games with that 7-6 Bama team.

Message board speculation isn't worth a whole lot.

We have 4 and 5 star skill position players all along our two deep and three 4-5 star QBs.

Imo Enos isn’t consistently taking advantage of that enough. Plays are slow to develop and lack imagination for long stretches of the game.

Even without factoring any of that in, the talent gap between us and CMU is so huge, even with this green offensive line there’s no excuse for that brutal performance.

Manny should get next season as well and then, if he's not living up to reasonable expectations, we should cut our losses and start over again. I really hope and even expect (fingers crossed) that the intelligence he brought in as our DC will carry over to adjustments made this offseason as HC.

So Manny isn’t as good a coach as Saban?

Regarding Enos - he should just get this season to prove his worth. If he doesn't greatly improve our offensive numbers AND prove he's willing and able to make adjustments, then he needs to go. I'm hoping he has the intelligence (or at least ****roach self-preservation) to make changes and adjustments.

We're 4 games in. It's not too late for Enos, but now that we start ACC play, he's eaten up all of his margin. He needs to prove his worth or else.

Whoa. I hope he knows that.
You'd think so, but so many times it seems that our coaches at all levels on the team hierarchy, seem to get lost and can't the forest for the trees. You start rationalizing, "Well, I need to start 2 freshman against a top 10 team on the road because in the future...blah, blah, blah..." This and a million other examples. Enos can do this and I WANT him to do this, but it's up to him.

Either adjust to the realities of the team, the OL, his QB's penchant for holding on for his check downs, etc., or keep going with the way "it should be." CFB has become Darwinistic at its finest and either Dan evolves and uses this off week to scheme and plan for reality, or greatly damage his own prospects of getting a HC gig.

We weren't winning a title this year no matter which line we put out there. Why keep young guys on the bench in order to add a couple more meaningless wins? If we had played a young guy at QB instead of staying with the Rosier disaster, we would be further along right now.

scaife Donaldson gaynor reed and whoever at RT with help from chip blocks from the TE...

Sorry can’t tell me that line doesn’t shave off 2 or 3 sacks during the Florida game... and maybe helps give us the edge against UNC

Again, what's the benefit of keeping young guys on the bench THIS year? So that next year we have to start all over? This is not the year that we were going to win anything. Think D'Eriq King.
