Just realized how much Manny Diaz must have wanted revenge against Alabama for stealing Kool from us that he couldn’t wait to snatch Enos and say F you Bama. Love Diaz’ moxie he is a Cane at the core. Feel like he is a ghost of the coach who should have been our 2001 Canes team captain. You can’t deny he IS Miami

If being Cane at the core means making an irrational decision just to get even, the yes, Manny is all Cane. Manny reminds me of a teenager that stole his father's car and is going to show him just how good a driver he is.... then promptly runs it into a canal.

Holy **** these posts from some of you less than a year ago—further proof y'all set yourself up for this fall after 6-6.

The pointless hype in this thread, the blind stupidity that "The New Miami" was gonna be some overnight fix—one doing away with a broken culture and 15 years of mediocre football.

Good Lord, Canes were 7-9 after that 10-0 miracle start under Richt—and between the 2005 Peach and 2018 Pinstripe, were a disastrous 97-71—but "stealing" a one-year Alabama assistant or a clever marketing phrase; those were supposed to change things overnight?

No wonder so many are shell-shocked by 6-6 this year—after some idiots had the audacity to yell 12-0 to start the season and expected to roll Florida; why—because Diaz showed up to a booster event on an 88-foot yacht and that "swag" was oozing out of him?

Very clever subtle way of pretending you are trashing Diaz when your actual premise is he “needs time”.
