I want someone to ask how garbage the offense is, and why it’s ok for a Dan Enos led group to be dead last in 3rd down conversion %, and crap the bed against inferior teams

This is what I kept waiting for - all the reporters seemed to be tripping over their words trying to get polite questions to Manny. It was so frustrating to not have one just come and ask him straight up - Ice Cold - "Why does this team suck?", "Why are we the worst on 3rd?" , "Why is this offense running so poorly?" etc. Just come out with it instead of setting him up for a long, non answer or "it's on me" response.

Yea I saw the presser... jeezus the president gets drilled 100 times worse. They should ask him why are croots dropping like flies.
 
I watched Penos' and the DC (who cares) pressers and it's all crap - we know - but Enos did take time to say how great Manny is doing and how he's all over things as a 1st-year coach. Meanwhile, Manny is falling all over himself at the opportunity to fall on his sword for every sin this team has committed.

Now, I'm know he's the HC and the buck stops with him yada yada yada yada but part of me really believes Manny is sincere in what he's saying. He's really trying to own it. He understands the responsibility of being the head guy but it's just that he's the only one doing that. Enos is happy to sit back and let him eat all the **** for this (probably using the green head coach's inexperience against him). I haven't seen Enos look contrite about the performance, not once and the DC basically says the same thing over and over so that's just a waste of time to listen to.

I hope Manny is as smart as everyone gives him credit for and is just trying to tough out this season so he can fire all of them at the end of the season.

Owning your shortcomings is fine but it won't win you football games. Manny Diaz is not P5 head coaching material. Not at all. He seems like he'd be fun guy to hang out with. He does not command the respect of his players. Jumping around with your players in the locker room after beating Bethune is one thing, but he has had a really tough time connecting with his team when the **** goes south. The players don't care and don't respect him.

I agree with you that it take more than owning them, just saying it seems like more than coach speak with him. Also, his assistants aren't pulling their weight and problems grow which makes the message grow thin. I woudn't listen to a coach that is all inspiration when the actions of the coordinators are contrary to the message. Enos just went up there and told everyone his calling was fine - how is that ok??? Manny needs to act on his words and cure the so-called disease by eradicating Enos to start with.
 
So do we audible or not? I really wanted a yes or no on that.

Reporter needed to freaking follow up. Manny just kinda reiterated that FIU was out of alignment. We know that. Reporters are so meh these days.

Lots of people get too caught up in keeping it 100 and taking blame and all that other stupid “it starts with me” type of ****. I don’t give a fck about his observations. This bearded bottom just got smoked by FIU and needed late scores to keep it from looking like the beating it was. The unthinkable.

He’s responsible for the worst loss in program history and is the first coach to ever lose 3 games in a season favored by 14 or more. So fck his facts and observations.
