And I think we would have set up the game winning FG better. We probably would have ran the ball a couple times, got to the middle of the field for Baxa. Who knows if he would have made it but we couldn't really set up that game tying one because we took a couple shots for the win.

Ok, Not sure why people feel compelled to bring the Lord into it. Maybe because it’s Sunday. Point still remains. That play is not what cost us the game.

Yes. I think it’s Rule Number 16 (but not the same rules as in the Wedding Crashers movie). Always attempt to blame former coaches for deficiencies in the current players. 😉
 
I blame his mom. She didn't give him enough brothers to fight over toys with. You know, where you've gotta wrestle it out of your siblings hands. ***** her.

He's definitely not slow but he is overrated (currently).
 
If we had depth like we should he should have shirted last year and worked solely on strength for a year

Instead we had to press him in and he got hurt

It was a knock at Vt and it’s glaring here. He refuses to set the edge , he just wants to get upfield.

“ Not bad “ would be very generous , more like below average at best.
 
Did anybody else notice the unsportsmanlike on the receiver after he caught the the touchdown and jumped into the crowd like he was at lambeau field. Or was it just me.
