Mallory

he's obviously going to be fine as a pass catcher. they'll get him the ball in space and he'll look great. the question is whether he can block at all or if he's just our mike gesicki (penn state version). because if he's just a flex TE it changes what everyone thinks our best personnel is. he didn't look much improved at all as a blocker vs UF.

How about instead of rushing to write our players off and then asking to eat **** later if they prove you wrong, just give them a chance in the first place? Why are you motherfckers in such a hurry to label our guys busts or some other derogatory ****?

Did you have a good breakfast, you seem a bit edgy? Fact of the matter is he's underwhelmed thus far and had bad game vs UF acting as though being critical of him is bashing him is disingenuous.

He deserves criticism but calling him a bust and saying he’s trash like some people are doing is ridiculously soon for that.

After one game, half our players are busts, we have the worst offensive line in America and none of our coaches know anything about how to coach a football team.

Imagine if we hadn't lost a nail-biter to the toughest team on our schedule with our QB and both tackles playing in essentially their first games ever?

Some of you guys make it so easy for other fanbases to crap on Miami fans.
They’ve made me detest our own “fans” with every fiber of my massive being. Everything about our program is garbage after game one.

He's not a physical blocker. He’s basically a giant WR. People need to get the idea of him being a mauling in-line blocker out of their minds. He can be an incredible weapon in the throw game if our coaches use him correctly.

C'mon fellas ... It was only the first game. Geez I get it but lets all have more patience . If we want to be technical no one played " OUTSTANDING " on offense except for #13. That's just my opinion.

Lets just put some things in perspective HERE and move forward. There is whole season left to be displayed.

Go CANES!

He underwhelmed you in his first real game action? I bet you’re not as tough on yourself as you are on a kid getting his first real action.

Yes, agree.
The holding call against him on the fake field goal seemed like a BS call, but someone had highlighted some other plays where his blocking was not good.
(Maybe he should watch some clips of Mike Harley blocking.)

Not trashing Mallory at all. He has to step up he is second year player. All we read from spring to the Florida game was how improved he was. Did not see it against Florida. He supposedly became a much better blocker also did not see that. Enos's offense is suppose to be a 2 headed T.E. monster. I hope we start to see that this week. With Jordan on the field Mallory should ball out.
