Mallory as an athlete is as good as you’ll get at a te. Guys that big doesn’t run that fast. The issue is he’s not a te ( in a Lashlee offense , he’s too light in the *** and he‘s weak as ****. He gets pushed around and is useless inline. Now he’s just broken , his confidence is shot and there’s nothing left to do but give reps away. I always thought he was capable of being a really good player because of his athletic ability but it never transpired.

He’s a story of unrealized potential. He should’ve been the best TE since Olsen but he’s so inconsistent it’s terrible and he never learn to be a consistent blocker even though he had the size too. We hired Field as a recruiter but his coaching at TE leaves ALOT to be desired. Hartley was a dynamite recruiter and could also coach the position.

coaching wouldnt help much with his lack of ability to block. hes soft aNd doesnt hve the heart too mix it up.
Hes a stretch te with so so hands...that still cane make plays here and there. Should come back next year
