Lol the funny thing is, Richt was on The Sheriffs bandwagon before that hand injury he had and Austin P said he could be a starter here. Would have been scary if he was our starting QB this year

It happened with Braxton Miller, JT Barrett, and Blake Sims. You gotta remember that Kosi was a June enrollee and probably didn’t have a great idea on how to run the playbook because of it so if what Duasso said(Kosi being the most talented guy on the team) is true then you can’t sit him.

Take out toledo and bethune which boosted that up and count only D1 opponents and his completion percentage is 55% pre unc. So did his little bruise really bother him or was it because the schedule got tougher?

Well, based on your approach I guess on the other end you will remove the Clemson game.

You can hate Rosier all you want...I love the kid, because of this season and what is leadership and play accomplished.

Here's what I know to be true...these blogs are mostly filled with hate, half truths, lies and a negativity that is mind boggling.

Had all the hate spewed at coaches and players today been in play back in the day this program would have never enjoyed support from the greats who invented..."It's a Canes thing-you wouldn't understand. It seems as though people are always having to explain to you what they are talking about. Comprehension is not your strong suit.

Of course Rosier is a leader and if you made that absurd claim in front his coaches and teammates they would laugh in your face. A really, really dumb observation, but you are a hater so it comes with the territory.

Players from 2003/04 onward return at a level similar to any other program. Their involvement is nothing special, unlike the older Canes who didn't have malcontents like you lathering hate and lies on them. People such as yourself are cancers within any program you claim to have an affiliation.

Here it is two days before the Canes will be playing in a major bowl for the first time in 13 years as ACC Coastal Division Champions after winning 10 straight games and you are on this site tearing down "OUR" quarterback and spewing hate.

Rosier isnt a leader. The leader of the offense was berrios thats facts. And my comprehension is fine its dumb fücks like you that just keep talking out your ***.
 
I'm not going to bash Rosier, he won his position outright and played probably to the best of his ability. The injury theory leans toward an excuse
He never was that accurate at any time of the year, yes stats show he was slightly better before the UNC game, but his sum total was less than stellar. I don't doubt he got injured during the UNC game and to his credit he toughed it out through that game and the following. What bothers me was his admission after the Pitt game how he had a loss of focus.

There are a tons of things that he can improve on that don't require loads of talent, like footwork and reading defenses, film study, accuracy, leadership, mechanics, poise etc. There's no rational reason to say that Malik can't get better in some or all of these things. He's 22 years old with very good coaches. He may not improve enough to overcome the projected ability of Perry but this ability(Perry) hasn't really shown itself in college yet.

He chose to say that as opposed to complaining about the injury. I don't think its really that negative an indictment. The coaches didn't seem to lose much sleep over it either. They started him against Clemson.

If he said he could barely lift his throwing arm, then it clearly had an affect on him as a QB.

You're just a goofy hater with a faqqy agenda if you think: a. That Malik is lying about his shoulder; or b. That a QB being unable to lift his throwing arm would have no affect on his ability to play QB.

Take a look at that throw to JT in the Clemson game. Malik has a good arm and was usually pretty good throwing deep balls. That thing looked like one of you limp-wristed haters tried to throw it.
 
It's obvious that Rosier is not the most accurate thrower but it's equally obvious that the injury affected him. His numbers from UNC on were significantly worse and it's not just because the schedule got harder. UNC and Virginia are garbage and he struggled against them. He threw three picks against VT and had a mediocre game throwing against ND but the defense and running game picked up the slack.

Ideally, he's healed up enough to make some throws against Wisconsin to keep them honest. Next year, we open up the quarterback competition again. Hopefully one of the better natural throwers can win the job.
 
Theres no need to bash Malik. He was servicable for us most of the year and led us to a 10 win season.

That being said I think most people know hes not going to take us to the next level, where we are trying to go. Even pre-injury he was average at best. I hope he stays at UM as a reliable back up, but I hope Perry takes the helm next spring. Gives us the best shot to reach our potential.

VT : 10-21 193 yards 2 td 3 int. Awesome game.
ND: 15-24 137 yards 1 td 0 int. A bit more accurate but considering he only had 137 yards on 24 attempts, it's safe to say he was only completing short passes.

Just because the team won doesn't mean the QB played well. Watch more games, post less.

It's not just Malik. Homer is a combined 37 for 93 yds, 2.5 ypc, 0 TD's in his 3 road games as the starting RB (UNC/Pitt/Clemson). The offense just just been straight up bad on the road. When we were 10-0, we had only played 3 road games so it didn't stand out as much.

I'm considering the Wisconsin game a home game, and expecting a bounce back from Pitt/Clemson for both Rosier & Homer.

Good points. They've generally played much better at home as an entire team. Nothing like a little home cooking to snap a two game losing streak.
