Malik was hurt?

I love the kid, because of this season and what is leadership and play accomplished.

Leadership? The guy said after the Pitt game that he wasn't focused. And every indication is that his teammates don't like him.

****, Nostradamus, you've got my attention. Please share with me (and the board) all of those "indications" that his teammate don't like him that you know so much about. Thanking you in advance.

Who is it from?

I'll keep you in the game, but I'm not going to play it for you.

If you don't have any evidence that Rosier is a liked and respected leader, then let's move on to a new topic.

You’re making shlt up just like before.

You’re using one poster who you won’t even link, and who allegedly is using information almost 2 years old, to back up your totally made up claim that “every indication is his teammates don’t like him”. That’s totally made up and bogus.

You really are a piece of work.

As usual, just like with Chip Kelly, you’re making something up and going all in.

All indications are you are one of the most deceitful porsters ever to grace these boards. This I know to be true.

>Make a wild claim with the evidence of "my sources tell me..."
>Tell the other guy to prove that claim is false

Genius.

My sources (a buddy who knows you and your parents) tell me you're a dip**** with no friends and small genitals. Find me indisputable proof otherwise.

Who cares if Malik was hurt. Malik better pull off a Kaaya turnaround in the bowl game. He has heart that can't be measured, but his ceiling will not rate highly on draft boards. I will be surprised if future wr are signing up to play for him than say a more familiar QB in the stable.

Future wr won’t matter, friend. Next year is his last year and we got us a nice haul this year.

I meant for the 18 season. Pope and the speedsters like JT4.

Well in that case, they’re already signed up so what difference does it make?

Yep, the current and former Canes hate Rosier and don't think he's a leader... Thanking the geniuses who broke the news about how Rosier is hated and not considered to be a leader, clearly Kaaya, Quarterman, St. Louis and Langham backed up your "factual" insights.

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Malik Rosier Era is underway in Coral Gables.

On Wednesday, the redshirt junior experienced his first practice after being officially named starting quarterback.

“I’ve been busy with classes. As soon as I got home, I ate and crashed, I was so exhausted from practice. I haven’t really got the chance to sit down and say, ‘Wow, I’m the starting quarterback for the University of Miami.'”

Rosier was asked what it means to be part of that legacy of Hurricanes quarterbacks.

“It’s a great history,” he said. “Me and Brad [Kaaya] still communicate every day. That’s one of my best friends. It’s huge to follow the legacy of great quarterbacks.”

Rosier received a congratulatory text from Kaaya. He also heard from a pair of Hurricanes legends: Edgerrin James and Gino Torretta.

Rosier said James “actually hit me up, telling me congratulations and that he’ll see me and talk to me soon. I also had Gino Torretta hit me up on Twitter. He told me congratulations and if I have any questions, that he would help me out as well.”

Meanwhile, some of Malik Rosier’s current teammates reacted Wednesday to Rosier winning the starting job.

Linebacker Shaquille Quarterman: “I’m proud of him and happy for him. I think we are going in the right direction. Anybody Coach Richt would have picked would take us in the right direction. I definitely have confidence in him.”

Offensive Lineman Tyree St. Louis: “[Rosier] is a very big team player, he’s not lazy. He doesn’t let anyone slack off on or off the field. He always tries to hold everyone accountable.”

Wide Receiver Darrell Langham: “He really pushed himself through the spring and the fall. Even way back in the off times when going out there and throwing with us, he kept pushing himself. I was happy when he won it.”

I agree that the best Way should start. But to our WR stable a 4 star all American has already been dismissed and if poor play from the QB pos.you can expect the trend to spread.

This is what I'll say.... Mark Richt, the quarterback whisperer, pulled some Houdini **** this year... winning 10 games and making Malik Rosier look like a serviceable quarterback.

Oh and having a great defense helped a little bit too.

Next year, I hope N'Kosi Perry is ready

Watch our receivers on field body language throughout the season to see what they think about Rosier. Was pretty depressing IMO, especially AR.

To me, that is all the evidence I need to see for this debate.

I hope one of our other qbs is ready to ball in 18.

Just when I think the stupidity, the B.S., could not become any deeper I am surprised by one of the gifted haters floating a theory that is so ridiculous it is truly hilarious.

So, you have a doctorate in body language reading. And this season you employed your considerable skill set to determine that the Canes receiver corps does not like Malik Rosier. And that's all you needed to know to decide this debate.

Keep up the great work doctor!

I saw him vs notre dame and I'm not buying it

was he injured? Sure

to some extensive point? **** no, guy was throwing darts vs the irish

Canes don't make injury excuses. QB's at the U can't just call press conferences to make excuses for injuries on their own. CMR would not have approved this article coming out if he didn't know it to be true right? The man was obviously injured even to the laymans eyes. He just didn't throw crisply after UNC.

Rosier doesn't have an enormous amount of talent, but some intangibles were there all year and he's got a solid arm.

Perry should be improved next year, but so should Malik. It will be a much better competition in the spring but based on how Perry closed out last years QB competition I'd hold off on just handing him the job. He was ok.

Get a grip. This has already been discussed on here. Several people have noticed. You are reading way deeper into what I am saying.

Carry on.

Was his shoulder injured? Maybe.

Was it the reason we lost to Pitt and got hammered by Clemson? Probably not.

His shoulder was fine for 5-6 GT at home, FSU 6-6, and 4-8 Syracuse at home. Was his shoulder injury the reason the offense was garbage then?

My point was, regardless of injury, we couldn't line up and run the football effectively. That's the reason the offense sucked, not because a 55% completion QB's shoulder was injured.

Again I'm no Malik apologist but it was clear to anyone who watched the team and doesn't hate the kid just to hate him that he wasn't the same after UNC. If he can hit those deep shots that he hit early on in the season, opposing defenses can't load up and the running game is better. Pretty simple football 101.

Navy just beat UVA 49-7 today and the QB was 0-1 passing. They RAN THE BALL every play for the entire game except 1 play. My argument is, again, that the offense sucked because we couldn't line up man to man and RUN THE BALL - not because Malik sucks or because he was injured.

You don’t understand the game of football very well if you’re using Navy as a comparator in terms of running games. In the future, you should refrain from making comments that relate to football play and stick to ancillary topics like uniforms, stadiums, endzone ornamentation, parking lots, etc. You can still find plenty to bltch about there. But comparing Navy’s running game to ours? Just don’t.

This should apply to about 50% of the board.

So what's your resume?

So you're not buying that his shoulder was hurt becasue we couldn't run the ball? Are you retarded?

I was 10 rows up dead center for the UVA and Pitt games. He was not only horribly inaccurate but had no zip on the ball whatsoever. He was floating balls on speed cuts. I'm not a Malik apologist but he was clearly not the same QB after the UNC game.

I didn't say we ran Navy's offense. Regardless of style of offense, Richt wants to line up with a power running game and run the ball. This team couldn't do that in many games this year and the offense struggled because of it. I don't have to be able to call plays in the Super Bowl to see that.
