Nice. He’ll get to prove himself in training camp and summer league.
They have a ton of forwards ahead of him, but none of their 3 two-way spots filled up yet. Hopefully he has been working on attacking closeouts from the wing and corner as well as catch and shoot drills.
I think when he’s not dependent on being the primary scorer he will exhibit a lot more hustle/smarts/better defense.

Great news. The Magic only took one guy in the draft, some USF dip**** who is supposed to be a center.
That always-injured F$U loser Jonathan Isaac is now gone, so hopefully Malik can carve out some space for himself.

Definitely rooting for this dude. Had a great season and carried us offensively at times. Unfortunately I think he got burnt out when tourney time rolled around. Looked pretty ragged when he had to play a second game in 2 days at the ACC tourney. Up until that point he was popping up in a lot of mocks as a second rounder.
